Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp

This wonderful little rhyming book has great pictures and a great little story. It was a former student's favorite book 20 years ago. I forgot about the book until his nephew walked through my door and on a whim, I searched Amazon for it, and there it was! It has stood the test of time, just as delightful now as it was all those years ago.A must for any dinosaur loving child!

My 2.5 year old son loves this book. There are a lot of words, but it written in a fun rhyming meter. The pictures are really silly and colorful. It even made my son want to brush his teeth when he saw the picture of a dinosaur brushing his teeth!I liked how it named a lot of different dinosaurs, some I hadn't even heard of, like Tarchia. Of course, I went and googled it and it looked nothing like what the picture in the book shows. So if you're looking for accuracy, you either have to look past that or not get this book.

We first found this book at the library and found ourselves checking it out time and time again. My daughter is two and a half, though she first fell in love with this book right around the time she turned two. After months of checking it out, I decided it was time to buy our own copy.It's full of clever rhymes and ideas about dinosaurs and lots of dinosaur identification in a fun way. The pictures are great and the words are even better. Boys and girls alike would enjoy this. My daughter knows all the words to it now, but I still enjoy reading it to her frequently.

We have had this book for over a year now. My daughter loves it and it's still one of her favorite books ever! It's adorable and well written. I have had to brush up on pronouncing dinosaur names in order to read it. The photos are great and it's a cute story! Great for any kid who loves dinosaurs! We got this when she was three and now at four it's still one of her favorites!

I absolutely love this story and still own the cassette tape which is rare. I bought this book for a three year-old and will play the cassette tape for him. I was a little disappointed because it seems like the book may have been fine but when the packing paper was put inside, it wrinkled and bent up the corner of the book.

My mom bought this book when I was in elementary which was before 9/11 and I have always loved this book. She actually still has the same paperback book she bought wy back then. So I wanted to buy her one that would hopefully last even longer and could be shared with all her grandkids. And this book was that. Thinking of buying myself a copy so worth the money

For some reason, this book has always charmed me ever since I discovered it and started reading it to my son 15+ years ago, which he really enjoyed. It's lovely, fun and bittersweet all at the same time, like childhood and life itself.My wife and I have carefully kept all our favorite childhood books of his, however, this one was lost in the moves we've made since then. It was out of print for a while but once I saw it was back, snatched one up, and am glad I did. Brought back great memories, and is now added to the collection for potential future grandchildren!Highly recommended!
