It works
I used this for an alloy fuel filler neck, so far so good. When mixed it was much thinner than I expected and wanted to run off the pipe. Easy to mix up with the stick provided but It can get messy. However, it has worked and is not leaking when filling up. Hopefully it lasts

Metal fuel tank repair
A friend of mine told me about this Tank weld as he used it on his diesel tank which as worked for over 3 years now. As on the same car and model as mine. The 1st thing to due was to drain all the diesel fuel out. 2nd cleanup the area around the leak which was very small pin hole. Cleaned with a good engine cleaner around the area then let it dry. 3rd I then used a small amount of petrol in the tank to show where the pin hole was. I could do this through my pump access which is underneath my rear seats this is also where I drained my tank from.4th I then followed the instructions for how to use the repair kit. We left it on overnight to let it get hard.when we check in the morning it was still sticky this was due to been cold weather. So we used a hand heat blower to help harden the fix. After 10 minutes it was dry. After about 15 minutes I filled the tank with 5 litres of diesel and waited another 10 minutes to check if the leak had stopped no more leaks was seen. I then sprayed the repair with stone chip paint. When I got back home I filled the tank with 20 litres and left it overnight with a dip tray/ bowl with a white paper towel to check for leaks. Next morning no leaks from my diesel tank. It’s been fixed now for over 10 days.

Not for Husqvarna chainsaw tanks
I bought this to repair a leak around the fuel-level sight-glass of a chainsaw and it didn’t work at all. It didn’t adhere to the Husqvarna plastics.

Mix separately and work fast!
Don't mix in the bag as per the instructions! It's sets too quick and gets very hot. Squeeze both parts out onto card and mix a little first. Don't have long before it sets so work fast. Also it gets very hot. Then when you've got a little in place mix the rest and finish the job. Or order 2 as you may need more, like me.I mixed the first in the bag and it was like molten lava and went off to quick to use it all.Apart from that brilliant product.
