It is so easy to use, safe and does a much better job than manual files.Prior to purchasing this I had tried a flat baby nail file and one that you can put on your thumb. I found both hard to use due to the length of time they took to work with a wriggling baby and that it was hard to file evenly and it often led to sharp ends. This nail file however is easy to use and gets the job done quickly.The pack comes in a nice carry case and has diffent attachable files for different ages.The files are soft enough that they will not damage skin and just gently file the nails back. I can do the babies nails in minutes and it is so much easier than before. I would fully recommend buying this type of file and not bothering with the others as the end result is so much better.It takes batteries (AAA) but I have not had to change them yet so I don't think it uses much power.

Amazing invention. So easy to file without worrying about catching babies skin or hurting them in the process. Real good quality files and last a decent amount of time. Great value for money. Would recommend

Impressive piece of equipment. Does the job, baby nails will always be fiddly no matter what you use but now at least there is way less risk of cutting the skin. Knocked off one star as I think the price is very high.

I just used this for the first time today and I immediately have gone to write this review as soon as my 3.5 month baby was asleep. I've been struggling to cut and then file my baby's nails, I usually did it when he was swaddled or asleep, but it was always so difficult. In the end they grew back so quickly and he had bloody scratches all over his face.In the end I decided to go for this one over other generic electric files, as it was advertised as whisper quiet.After using it just once, I'm sold. It took me less than 2 minutes to do all his nails (on his hands) and they're perfect and smooth, no sharpness or rough edges. He didn't even notice it as it was so quiet and quick.I really regret not buying this sooner as it would have meant less scratches for him and less hassle for me.My only concern is that I don't know how long the pads will last. But that would definitely not put me off.If you're hesitating about whether it's worth it and whether it will make a difference, then I would recommend you buy it.

Love the ease and safety of this device. Our newborn was scratching her face and hated having her nails cut with standard baby clippers. This device is silent, can't even hear a murmer so baby isn't disturbed at all during her nail trim. Even if she pulls her hand away, the low speed abrasive pad doesn't hurt her at all but is efficient at trimming her nails. This is a fantastic product, we love it. Battery life is also very good!

I know a lot of people benefit from using these, so my experience was definitely a personal thing rather than a product issue. I actually bought is because a friend suggested it after using it herself. My son has eczema and an itchy scalp, and he often cuts himself and makes himself bleed by scratching his neck or head. It's hard to keep on top of cutting his nails.I returned this nail file because I couldn't use it. Firstly, I wasn't sure how to use it properly (proper placement to file the nail etc). Side note: I don't really file my own nails either. I could have kept it and practiced using it on him, but I felt that wouldn't be worth it. My son didn't like the sound, even though it's very quiet. He's a very light sleeper so I couldn't even use it to file 1 nail in his sleep.This product didn't work out for me, but I'm so happy it helps so many parents out there.

After a year and half of using little baby scissors to cut my child’s nails we suddenly had a turn and he couldn’t stand me doing his nails anymore! Not to mention I’d even clipped him once because I was trying to do it whilst he slept in order to stop the tantrums! So you can imagine my distress and urgency to try and find another product to resolve this issue! I then came across this incredible product! It takes the nails down at a slow and steady rate, doesn’t hurt or vibrate the nail bed, doesn’t leave sharp edges and is super safe with the stopping feature! I honestly wish I’d found this product sooner! I’ve yet to order more file bits so can’t comment on how long they last before needing replacing but just wanted to write the review now as I’m so happy with this product! Highly recommend!
