Bore Tech BTCC-35016 C4 Carbon Remover, 16 oz

Follow the simple instructions and carbon stain is easily removed from the bore. At the end of the process and prior to lubing the bore, did a borescope review of the bore. It was amazing to see tiny carbon specs floating off the bore because of course some cleaner always remains until the last dry patch and lube. I've tried many other bore cleaners, some with extremely harsh chemistry, some with warnings of bore damage and health toxic and the C4 product is the most effective, easiest and safest to use.

This works GREAT!!! Awesome product and actually makes the cleaning so much easier. Could not believe the difference it made. I was still old school of dip brush and run a patch through. This was a game changer for me.

Removes all but the hard packed bore carbon. Pricey though for a water based cleaner

The media could not be loaded. I’m a big fan of Bore Tech’s other cleaners like their Eliminator and Rimfire Blend. I use their C4 Carbon Remover for stubborn jobs like carbon rings, AR bolts, and muzzle devices.I recently got a high end rimfire bolt gun and between scope zeroing and barrel tuning I shot 150 rounds in one sitting. I got home and scoped the bore to see how dirty the chamber and bore got and how bad the carbon ring was.Based on my other rimfire bolt gun I’ve gotten great results with a 10-minute soak, dry patch down the bore, another 10-minute soak, then one final dry patch. I haven’t needed to hit the chamber or leade with a nylon brush to completely remove the carbon ring.This stuff simply works with minimal effort on your part. Plus it’s odor-free.

This cleans as advertised. I have the copper remover, which I used in conjunction with the carbon remover, Quick work of the carbon ring & copper fouling in my rifles. Easy to use. I shoot Barnes solid copper bullets & these products work faster than anything else I have used. I would recommend all Bore Tech Products.

My god this stuff is expensive, but a little DOES go a long way in this case. So far its the only solvent to actually take the carbon off my gas tube of the 5 ive used. With no scrubbing. In fact, I didn't scrub anything and it wiped away hard carbon. [Big Plus: Your household doesn't complain of ANY smell]

Works pretty good on carbon rings
