Worked like a charm. Excellent product.
I had an intermittent check engine light, and a residual airbag light after changing the clock spring last year. I was quickly able to identify the CEL is likely a bad gas cap, and get that ordered. I was able to then clear both the CEL and the airbag light. I'm not sure that I needed the 'pro' version, but I know I still saved money over taking it to a shop.

Outstanding product for Volkswagen Auto Group owners
This device is absolutely necessary if you want to save yourself money in diagnosing and fixing problems. For example, I wanted to upgrade my car's battery from a regular one to an AGM battery which requires clearing out codes and adapting the new battery to the electrical system. If you do this at a VW dealer, it will cost you nearly $500 (with battery). I bought the battery for $175 and did all the electrical stuff with this OBDeleven product. Here's what I like about it:1. The app (you have to download it for iOS or Android) is easy to use and very modern. Whoever is behind it keeps it up-to-date.2. The scanner syncs with the app quickly and easily. If you have ever connected AirPods to your iPhone, it's about that easy.3. It reads all of the codes and gives you a description of what they are. And they provide links to get more information if you need it.4. It's easy to clear all of the outstanding codes (and there's a lot of them when you switch batteries).5. The scanner is small and compact, and you can hide it in your glovebox.6. It's just fun to use.Remember this device only works with Volkswagen Auto Group cars, which I believe includes VW, Audi, Porsche, and a few other brands in the USA.

Does NOT work on 2009 Audi Q7 (MMI 2G users beware!!!
I bought OBDeleven hoping to use it on my 2009 Audi Q7 Premium 3.6, but it simply does not work with my car. I purchased this Pro package, but I couldn’t even access the Pro functions inside the app. Thinking maybe it was an activation issue, I decided to buy another OBDeleven (without the Pro package) — but I had the exact same problem. On both devices, the app tries to run a full system scan, but it always crashes at step 6 when it reaches the MMI (Multimedia Interface) module. Since the scan never finishes, no control units get saved in the “Garage,” which means you can’t access or use any features. The app just shows empty icons and the only option is “Connect.”This is a known problem with the older MMI 2G High system in 2007–2009 Q7s. That module is on the fiber optic MOST bus and OBDeleven simply can’t handle it — it disconnects every time. I tried two dongles, two versions (Pro and Basic), two phones, ignition on, engine running — and the result was always the same.Bottom line: If you have a 2007–2009 Audi Q7 (with MMI 2G), OBDeleven will NOT work for you. Don’t waste your money thinking it will scan all systems like it does on newer Audis. It might be fine for modern VW/Audi, but for this generation Q7 it’s basically useless.

Good purchase.
Cool little tool for live data, maintenance, code diagnostics, and customization, but the credit price and membership stuff is a bit much. Doesn't do anything for ecu or dsg tuning so if thats what your after an accessport or the like might be a better a choice. The 1 click descriptions could be better as you will likely waste credits on some things. There are now two different apps and could be a little confusing at times. This will drain car battery if left in obd port overnight. Over all pretty handy little gadget to have.

Works well on 2006 A4
2006 Audi A4 B7 FWD CVT Premium.I needed to turn off the STUPID SEAT BELT CHIME. Buying the Ross-Tech for $300 just for that is not a good idea. I heard this can turn it off. It WORKED! I also made a couple of mods too. It's pricey since you can get monitoring bluetooth readers for $15. I like the capabilities and I think it's a good investment since it can be updated. Also, some of the channels have instructions built in meaning there's no need to scour the internet. The app is OK but it does need you to log in, but then again what doesn't nowadays.Recommended only if you plan to mod your Audi.

Great Device, But App Microtransactions Are a Pain
The OBDeleven NextGen PRO Pack works really well — the Bluetooth connection is solid, and the diagnostics on my VW are thorough and fast. I love being able to read and clear fault codes, check freeze frame data, and do advanced coding right from my phone. The device itself feels high quality and the app interface is intuitive, even if you’re not a car expert. However, the downside for me is the app’s microtransaction model. Turning features on and off often requires extra payments on top of buying the PRO plan, which feels ridiculous. If I’m paying for an app or a feature, I expect to be able to toggle it freely without being nickel-and-dimed every time I want to disable something. So, while the tool is powerful and definitely saves time and money by avoiding unnecessary trips to the shop, the way the app charges for basic controls takes away from the overall experience. Hopefully, they’ll fix this and offer a more user-friendly pricing model in the future. If you don’t mind the microtransactions, it’s a solid buy. Just be aware the costs can add up if you want to experiment with multiple features.
