Adorable and functional!
Whoever came up with this is deserves a raise and a promotion because making this well priced purchase finally removed me from the shackles of using old bowls as water holders for when I paint. The size is perfect, the little indents let you keep your paint brushed on the cup, and it’s so aesthetically pleasing. Would highly recommend!

Handy and durable
This water cup is perfect for painting. I love that it folds up and can easily be stored with other art supplies or taken on the go. It is also very handy to have the notches to hold wet paintbrushes if you're using more than one at a time. It is very thick and durable. It seems like something you don't think you need, and then when you get it you don't know how you ever painted without it! Nice for both children and adults to use, and would make a perfect gift for any artist, no matter the skill level!

Convenient and protects your brushes at a great price!
These cups are great, and I can’t paint without it! None of the other water cups/buckets I’ve ever bought have the wavy edge this one has. I can let my brushes sit horizontally, which is at least helpful in preventing potential water and paint damage to the brush. The silicone material and wavy edge also help make sure the brushes don’t roll away. I absolutely love how convenient these are to travel with as well. For those unaware, good brush care means trying to keep water/pigment out of the ferrule and soaking into wooden handles. This is really difficult when the only storage option are holes along the side of the water cup, therefore the only way to store a wet brush is to place it with the handle in the hole, allowing water/pigment to drain into the ferrule and wood handle. Over time, this would loosen the glue and cause the wood to expand/contract as it absorbs water and dries, ruining the brush faster. Ideally, brushes should be dried hanging by the handle with the bristles pointed down, allowing the water to drain away from the ferrule and wood handle.

Love the brush holder top
I really like that this holds water so well, but I also really like that. It holds my brushes horizontal to dry to prevent the paint from flaking off the handle. Highly recommend. Folds up nicely for Travel sturdy base.

Just get it
Surprisingly versatile and functional. I use it in my studio more than for traveling - it’s very stable and won’t “travel” down the slope of my drawing table because of the rubber construction. When I do use it in the field, that same characteristic is useful on my plein air easel. It folds up easily and takes less room in my travel kit than a similarly sized cup or water container. It does take up SOME space though, so I use the flattened cup to protect small fragile items I carry in the kit.I’ve used all sorts of containers for water over the years. Most have been sturdy “giveaways” from events, so they never cost me a dime. This is the only water container I’ve ever actually purchased, but I have to say that the five or six bucks or whatever it was was certainly well worth the investment.

It's very nice
Love! Very convenient, it's nice and sturdy as well. Sit well and does not wobble. I really adore this item, wish it was a little bit cheaper.I got it because I live in a small apartment and with the limited amount to space. I need to store all my art supplies in a plastic container. I think it'll be great for traveling with as well.

My favorite art toy...because it works!
For 30 years I have been lugging empty tuna cans for water when I paint. I have to say that I smile every time I look at this collapsable cup. What a great design. Easy to use and very sturdy. I carry it to the studio, back home and outside. I never know when I will get a chance to paint so I have a water bottle, my clic and go water cup, some paint, and brushes in a satchel ready to go. Faber-Castell is a favorite brand of mine and now I have their sweet little water cup that makes me happy.

Well thought out
This is a decent size water cup for plein air painting. Love that it’s collapsible and made of a sturdy material. It does not have a lid because the top has a scalloped edge designed to hold brushes, which is actually very helpful. As a personal preference, it would have been absolutely perfect if it had a metal bottom or a metal insert on the bottom, so it could be secured on my travel easel which is equipped with magnets. But other than that, it’s a really well made product.
