I bought two different types of flowers and ended up only using these because they were thin and looked more realistic instead of cheap and tacky. They were easy to use. I scrunched them in my hands before placing them on the cake to make them appear more natural.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted make a nicely decorated cake for my daughter in law but don’t have skills, so I ordered this kit to decorate her cake with. Some reviews said the flowers were fragile so I worried, but they were easy to work with once warmed up for just a moment in the palm of my hand. They made a beautiful cake!!! The colors were very nice— vivid but not gaudy. They are edible but have no taste, and it’s like eating a piece of paper. I don’t recommend them for eating. LOL

This looks your cake different level but it doesn’t taste good. So just take them off when you eat your cake.

Beautiful and full color with a lot of variety. You get several different types of flowers of different colors and sizes plus a few different types of butterflies. My favorite thing about these are that they are easy to work with and flexible. You can bend the flower petals up to create. 3 dimensional look and they don’t break. Could have a little more sugar in the wafer not very sweet and don’t taste the best but they dissolve quickly.

The colors were perfect and we made it work. No instructions on how to form flowers to look 3 dimensional- found video on YouTube. Could have been my lack of craftiness. It worked out but wasn’t what the picture showed. I ended up just propping them up against the cake. It was for an 8yr old so it wasn’t tok big of a deal

Turned out great but took a minute to figure out how to make them dimensional...just lightly brush the edge with a smidgen of water and they turn out great.

These flowers were really nice but they were not edible. They did not dissolve in your mouth they were like plastic.It was for my daughters birthday and I was very disappointed as was everyone that tried to eat them.

Short version: These are exactly what I was expecting based on the description. To avoid disappointment, just make sure you read all information provided as size and material are both mentioned repeatedly.Haven't used yet as they're for a birthday cake next month. I ordered early in case there was a delay in shipping, but they arrived within 2 days of ordering. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little worried, also, that I might have to replace them. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. They were packaged in sealed plastic so they weren't damaged at all despite being left on an uncovered porch in the rain by our mail carrier. They were exactly the size I was expecting them to be for what I plan to use them for. If you're unsure if they're the sizes you need, they do show pictures of them on cakes and on standard cupcakes for visual reference. The colors are clear and vibrant. I saw others complain that they were too thin, but I found them to actually be thicker than I was expecting. Past experiences with wafer paper was that it was about half the thickness of these. Others mentioned that they were flavorless, so I tasted the small one that I had taken out to examine for my review. And yes, it was flavorless.. exactly as wafer paper should be. They aren't meant to be eaten alone, but with the cake, so they don't need flavor as flavor could actually take away from the cake. Overall, I am incredibly pleased with them, and would rate them higher than 5 stars if I could.
