I've tried numerous small LED flashlights, looking for a few to place in those dark cabinets and drawers where it's hard to see. Places where DVDs, video controllers, jewelry, etc., are stored.So far the flashlights I tried all turned out to be junk, many of them eventually flickering their way into the trash, and the rest kept barely working with profuse whacking, twisting and swearing.I was more or less fed up with wasting my money when I read a review by someone who described the same experience as mine, and claimed these Rayovac flashlights were different: they worked reliably. Honestly, I was almost put off by the glow-in-the-dark feature which, frankly, sounded goofy. But I went ahead and ordered 3.Well, so far so good. The flashlights appear well constructed and feel solid. They all cast a good light with their 14 LEDs and, more important, they go ON (and stay on) when you press the switch once, and OFF when you press it again. That's all I ever asked for.As for glow-in-the-dark, I don't know what they were thinking. The slight glow seems too dim to be useful, even after direct exposure to a bright, external light source, and the glow diminishes quickly. If the designers intended the glow to help in finding the flashlight in the dark, I think they missed the mark.Anyhow, I still recommend these flashlights for your dark cabinets and drawers. If nothing else, you'll get to puzzle over uses for the glow-in-the-dark feature.

Small LED flashlight with the On/Off button on the side. Most of these smaller LED flashlights have the On/Off button on the end of the flashlight. The side button makes it much easier to use when I walk by dogs. I only need the flashlight periodically during their walks (during dusk and night). The beam of light is enough for close work--up to 7 or 8 feet. It will hold up to waist high drop on the ground and on asphalt. I highly recommend this flashlight if you want a side button and a normal amount of light.

The 18-lumen is a nice little flashlight, but it does NOT glow in the dark. I bought this model to keep on a shelf in a dark closet. After I left it sitting next to a bright window all day, I put it in the closet, and saw a faint glow that disappeared quickly.I'm not sorry I bought it - the glowing was an extra feature that would have been nice and cost only a dollar more - but no one should buy this flashlight expecting it to glow. Now when I go in the closet and feel around for the flashlight, I laugh at my gullibility. ;-)

I wanted small, bright flashlights to keep around the house and I'm glad I chose these. They are easy to find and they are bright! I've used one in the basement to find a tool I needed in a dark corner. I grabbed one when I was putting together a toy and dropped a screw that, of course, rolled under my sofa. I turned on the flashlight, pointed it under the sofa and there was the screw shining in the light. I also like the LED bulbs. They are brighter than regular bulbs and I expect them to last forever.

The flashlight itself is great, bright and clean light. BUT the 'glow in the dark rubber grip' DOENS'T GLOW IN THE DARK. If you are going to have that as part of your tagline then it had better work. Otherwise your 5 star products is only worth 3 stars

Got this for my mom when the little single cell AAA flashlight with a glow in the dark power button no longer glowed. She liked it as it was easier to hold, and the grib was easier to see than the button.

Zero stars actually because the product arrived not working and noticed the spring fell off in the battery area to connect. Very cheaply made and unusually small size for any adult to use. Not worth sending back.

This little flashlight is super bright! I received light pink instead of green as shown, which was ok since it's for my daughter, but you may want to keep that in mind. I didn't read anywhere that said colors varied but it's possible I overlooked it.
