Best polish for feed ramps and other metal parts
This was recommended by a friend to polish the feed ramp in a gun. I tried it and cannot believe how well it works. It removes the crud that accumulates on there as well as it polishes it to a mirror finish. When you touch it, it even feels like the part has been waxed from how smooth it is.I also tried it on an old penny and it left it very shiny and with a mirror shine. I plan to use it in my motorcycle to polish aluminum parts.

It works, but you need to work at it
I bought Flitz as a non-toxic alternative to other polishers with harsh chemicals. It does work. It is not automatic and you do need patience and time to buff your item and polish it out in layers. If polishing brass, you'll need paper towels and a rag or towel you can throw away or use as a rag after. I'd also recommend wearing an apron to protect your clothes. When you polish the item, a navy blue/deep gray color will show up on the paper towels and fabric towel, the color can transfer to your hands but does wash off. If you buff strongly with a fabric towel after you buff with the paper towel you will then really see your item transform, as the instructions say to do. It takes some elbow grease/muscle power and time. The instructions for the product are located inside the triangular box it comes in, so the instructions are from the inside out and you'll need to break the box open to see them. The instructions are not written on the product tube. I used this to clean small brass trinkets. Work fast so it doesn't dry and buff as much as you can with the paper towel first then the fabric towel. It is messy and takes time and effort to polish it up but it works. If I could find something requiring less work that wasn't filled with harmful chemicals I'd go for that instead.

The hype is real, and highly warranted!
Removed rust and to-become-rust spots on two of my favorite knives, including a Spyderco and Microtech, each with their own steel. Worked flawlessly removing the spots in both. Thank you Flitz!

Illusion
I was fooled by the packaging. The tube of Flitz is pretty small but the package makes it look you get more than you actually do. Should have read the description of ounces before I ordered.

Great polish
Works great. Does exactly what I needed it to do. Removes stuff you can't even see. Super smooth finish. Just a little dab and some dermal work and you're done.

Polishing
GOOD STUFF!I used it to hand polish a brush finished handgun. After 20hrs of polishing it came out beautifully. A lot of work but worth it.

Must have
This is an old throwback. My grandpa used to use this stuff. It’s great for cleaning knives that have tarnished or got rust on them. Also great for jewelry.

Manage Your Expectations!
Bought this polish to try and return the logo on my retro-styled Frigidaire refrigerator to its original shine.Photos of how it looked new and how it looks now.The "now" photo was after I applied and polished off this paste/polish.While I can see tiny spots of the silver shining thru, this is definitely NOT a "quick immediate" acting polish. It would take hours of tedious polishing and still not sure it would even work then.Full disclosure this refrigerator is 3 years old and was placed on an exterior roofed and screened dock over a saltwater river 3 years ago. Knew going in that there would be eventual tarnish and rust but just bought a second smaller unit to serve as a bait refrigerator so was trying to return the original logo to it's shiny silver "new" look to better match the recently purchased unit.If anyone has any suggestions please share!
