Great set if you appreciate nostalgia. Looks absolutely amazing when finished. Bought a light kit (talked about them in another review) to give it more life! Also bought the "LEGO Disney Movie Camera Tribute to Walt Disney Builder Set for Adults with Minifigures Mickey Mouse, Minnie and Figures such as Bambi and Dumbo" set #43230 as an accompanying set piece. You won't be disappointed having them on display.

Amazing easy to build and super cute especially if your a big Disney Lego fan. The price is a bit high but it's an excellent set

The media could not be loaded. This is a fun time and a very nice put together. Got this one with my son. He decided to follow the instructions and not wait for me to put this one together as we usually do the LEGO sets with each other. He took about an hour to put together. 12 year old boy. The product as for most LEGO sets come nicely bagged with the parts separated and easily to find.The details as you can see in the pictures is very cool and well thought out. For the price point and the quality and ease putting together for my son. The parts move as you push it. Would highly recommend for the Disney LEGO fan.

Besides the fact that this exact cartoon and story and animation from 1923 is remembered with so many happy and joyous childhood memories, this lego build is outstanding to do as it actually is a moving steam engine.I am so excited to do this and see the clear color work of the engine which I would never have believed becomes real as you move thru the directions and see the engine unfold as you build.I highly recommend this for those who are young at heart and need a burst of joy to permeate your life as it has mine. By the end of this process, many pieces connecting to the wheel house were not there and it wa possible to manage to complete it but not as it was done in the instructions which was disappointing.

This set has a number of excellent “Features” with it that makes it a wonderful attachment to any collection.Features like the Paddle Wheels going around when the boat is pushed across a surface, Smoke Stacks that also go up/down, a working Crane on the aft of the boat and many, many more features.I would not recommend this as a toy (IMHO); however, more of changeable art.

This was a fun build that took a few hours. I noticed quite a few comments complaining that the smoke stacks would get stuck. I had that issue mid build when one particular step pressed 2 lego pieces too close to the moving gears or something as i was testing the movement with every new step. I found that pulling on the stacks upwards helped jiggle them into proper place so they could move again.This is one of those builds that's not easy to pull back apart if you miss a step because many of the pieces are snapped flat against each other. I ended up realizing I forgot a piece 10 pages later. Sure it was on the inside of the ship and didn't affect functionality, but still a silly mistake.
