This is one Helluva Cabinet! I need to order like 3 more of these, and achieve organization perfection
I really wanted a black storage cabinet, but after realizing that all of the black storage cabinets available are flimsy, I decided to get this one and paint it black. This is one sturdy cabinet! It arrived in a big, heavy package, and I had to help the UPS driver get it off her truck. Rather than try to carry it up my driveway, I took a boxcutter and opened it right on my lawn, then carried it up a few pieces at a time. The directions are super-easy to follow, and I decided that it would be fun to complicate things by building a platform on wheels, upon which to erect this mighty cabinet. My husband cussed up a storm, but successfully completed both the platform on wheels and the cabinet assembly in a single afternoon. I would have done it myself, but he commandeered the project under the guise of "helping". Works every time!Seriously, I don't know how we ever managed to live without this cabinet. It holds a ton of stuff, and it looks fantastic! In fact, it looked great in white, with its nice modern handles, so I decided to hold off on the painting. I did, however, add two more shelves, just because I could. This was incredibly easy - I took one of the shelves to my local big orange box store, and had the guy in lumber cut me two more pieces of the shelf material to the exact same size. This was so cheap I thought they must have miscalculated the price, and I got to keep the uncut leftover piece for my next project, a linen closet with adjustable shelves. I bought a little package of shelf peg thingies there, too. Now, the holes for the shelf peg thingies don't go all the way up and down inside the entire cabinet, which means you are slightly limited in your shelf placement, unless you decide to drill more holes. However, it worked out perfectly for me -- I moved both of the movable shelves and their pegs to the highest position, and added my extra shelves and pegs to the lowest positions, which created two extra "mini-shelves" tall enough for cans of soup, boxes of jello, skillets, etc. The four "tall" shelves are plenty tall enough for everything tall, or everything medium, stacked double. Plus, the very top of the cabinet is like another shelf. The total amount of storage space is stunning. I want to get at least three more of these, for the garage, the laundry room, and the extra bedroom where we put assorted items we don't know where to put. "A place for everything, and everything in its place" might actually happen!I can't think of a single negative about this cabinet. If I had to come up with something negative, just so you know it's a real review from a genuine human cabinet consumer, not some fake one written by someone getting paid one-half an American dollar to write fake reviews, it would be that the packaging material is unbelievably sturdy. Seriously, I went through like four blades on my husband's boxcutter thingie, cutting up the packaging material so I could bag it up for the trash guys. In hindsight, I should have removed the shipping labels and put it out by the curb with a big sign, "Hey kids! FREE Clubhouse! FREE Fort!"

Trick to get Perfect Door Gaps
I'm grading on a curve, since in the larger scheme of things, this is probably a 2-3 star kind of thing- and not a particularly quality nor heavy-duty cabinet. 4 stars, since it meets expectations and I pretty much knew what I was buying.Packaging is adequate, not superb, and I got lucky that it arrived without any major damage. One of the side boards (left side) has about a 5" long shallow gouge on the outside face that does not break the laminate finish, and fortunately for the location I'm putting this, it won't be seen. Assembly was easy and straightforward, no surprises or drama. The door pulls are very nice and weighty- definitely kitchen cabinet grade. However, the hinges are on the cheap side. These type of concealed hinges are not all alike. The better ones have quick connect/disconnect latches for attaching the door to the cabinet, have better adjustment mechanisms, and are soft close. The included hinges have none of that. Otherwise, the composite wood (i.e. particle board) parts are attractive (for a garage or laundry room placement), reasonably true, and have a nice (though maybe not terribly durable) finish. Here's the trick to adjusting the doors to minimize the gap and any crookedness:Since these are cheap hinges, the securing screw in the center of the hinge plate (the part mounted inside the cabinet in Step 4) needs to be loosened first in order to give the adjustment screw some range of motion. This is not mentioned in the assembly instructions. It's a bit of dance: loosen the center screw and tighten the adjustment screw a little bit, then check the gap. You'll probably need to do this at all four hinges and repeat a few times to get a tight and straight gap- be patient with the process. You'll notice that the center screw will get TIGHT after turning the adjusting screw in the clockwise direction. If this is the case, loosen the adjustment screw a tiny bit to take some tension off the center screw. Like I said, be patient and adjust a little at a time and you'll be rewarded with barely a gap between the doors. Of course if the doors touch, then do the opposite- counter-clockwise on the adjusting screw first then tighten the center screw.Last thought: As is, the raw edge of the particle board sits directly on the floor- and particle board absorbs water like a sponge. So keep that in mind. Since the 22" sides and front kick plate sit on floor, any irregularities or unevenness in the floor will cause the cabinet to be wobbly or not parallel with the wall (or both). It would be nice if this had some adjustable feet to elevate the cabinet slightly so that spilt water or mopping won't result in damage and provide the ability to compensate for less than perfect flooring.

Great storage and clean look!
We use these in our garage for more storage. They look very nice and there’s plenty of storage space in them! The only thing I don’t love (that is probably user error) is I can’t get the doors to fully enclose the inside. There is a small space (maybe a quarter inch) between the 2 doors. I’ve never assembled anything with hinges so it’s probably easily fixed. But these are definitely sturdy shelves and I love that the heights can be adjusted.
