Clear as a bell across 1.5 mile lake. Surprised that batteries lasted so long. Child dropped several times without damaging.

These exceeded my expectations honestly. They worked well alot further then excepted. My son and his friends share them. They live a few houses down and it works great. A good alternative to a cell phone for little ones!

Cheap price equals cheap construction
Not the greatest quality. I had to add a piece of aluminum foil between the contact and battery as the battery was too loose in the housing. They also eat batteries like crazy. They are for my 8 and 6 year old kids and they are fairly harsh on them...but a higher quality item may actually last longer. We shall see how long these last as I don't have high expectations...but the price was pretty low so I had to give it a try. I probably would not buy again though once these do go out (or get lost)
