Nice mini-split, great price!
Bought the 12000 BTU unit due to not having room in panel for another 240 circuit. Poured a 2.5x3 pad for it to sit on. Had to buy a 50-foot lineset and power cord because of location. Install went smooth (except for inside unit plumbing hole which fell smack dab in the middle of a stud - not unit's fault. lol) Evac'ed lines, fired it up and charged with an additional 5 oz. of 410a due to lineset length. Blows super cold, and heats decently as well. Very happy with purchase. If I had anything negative to say about it, it would be the remote. It's simple, which is fine, but the one I got looks like the LCD was damaged in shipping or something... It has that broken LCD crystal rainbow effect around the edges and on the right side.. Maybe Covac will send me a replacement (hint-hint) lol.PROS: Price, ease of install, pre-charged (for 16ft lineset), performance.CONS: Remote may not be properly QC'ed, lack of color options, ships with only a 16ft lineset (con for me, anyways).

Works great and surprisingly quiet!
I had my friend who works with air conditioners install the AC in my small 300 sqft living room because it was hard to get 240v power for my old house. This system was perfect since it only needs 120v power. Installation only took a few hours and after he was done we tried out the heating and cooling and it works great! It cooled the room within 15 minutes and I was really surprised how quiet the system is. Definitely getting another system for my bedroom before summer hits!

Didn't work!!!
Aside from the piss poor customer service. The unit didn't work. Covac sent another condensing unit, that one worked for 3 days. They wouldn't replace it fix it nothing. So I'm stuck with a damn near $900 POS that doesn't work!!!

Little engine that could
This sucker has been powering/cooling my entire upstairs for 4+ years strong nonstop now. Given i have a small upstairs but it covers the full 400 sq ft and more with really no problems as long as you clean the filter and do the self cleaning every now and then. I would definitely recommend the purchase if it's maintained and put together correctly!!!

Great System - Cooling & Heating!
The AC seems to be working great so far in my bedroom. The design is nice with the hidden LED display, very slick. It came with almost everything I needed to install the AC and doesnt seem to use a lot of electricity. Looking forward to using the heating in the winter

Warning:-Defective manufacturing
There are two manufacturing mistakes!First Problem:- I have had to cut a square hole into the inside unit front panel for the display to show through.Beware if your A/C does or does not have a hole in the front panel for the displaySecond Problem:- I discovered a leak in the system after two weeks of use, so I warn you not to buy this unit. The leak is in the Schrader Valve, which cannot be removed and replaced without taking the A/C apart. The only possible repair is to disassemble the A/C and replace the low-side manifold. The final inspection at the factory should have noticed this defect. This is very bad manufacturing.I made a very small and thin O-ring, and placed it inside the brass cap to seal the low-side manifold. That worked well for my purpose.I am a retired Professor of Electrical Engineering.
