Ok, I have a pure bred Pug who will be 16 in September. She has a cough that is terrible, it's been like this probably the last 3/4 years. It's daily at this point but can turn and get more frequent then develops into a goose like honk, wet/girgly coughing, and hacking like there is something stuck in her throat. My vet is on speed dial, we have tried every medication we can! This works so good! My 14 year old chihuahua Bella has a heart murmur and collapsing trachea. She is seeing a cardiologist and primary vet. When Bella started coughing more often, the vet prescribed a medication but it was very difficult to find a pharmacy that would have it for us, so I tried this in the meantime while waiting for the meds. Highly recommend their customer service!I used the product as directed, but unfortunately it hasn’t helped my dog much. My little guy has collapsed trachea that has him in coughing fits pretty much throughout the day. He was on meds for a while but due to the cost, I wanted to see if this could work or at least help since it is much more affordable. If anything the coughing fits are getting worse…so I decided to put him back on meds and will look into alternatives.Despite the product not working for my dog, I’d still say it’s worth a try for the price. His collapsed trachea is so advanced that perhaps using Throat Gold in an earlier stage would’ve helped as supportive therapy, but it’s too late to say now.

These have been miracle life saving drops for my 17 year old yorkie terrier. His cough and honking was getting so bad and vet kept saying nothing can really help and he might have to be put down. !!WARNING!! READ BELOW!!I started giving this to my dog a night ago, making sure to give the correct amount for her weight. Didn’t think anything of it as she reacted normal to it. The following morning, I gave her the same amount. About 20-30 minutes later she threw up and went to use the bathroom and had a SEIZURE. I called poison control and while there are no recalls for this product, it does contain lead and I was advised to not use it moving forward. My dog is an elderly dog and while she could have an underlying problem that caused her to have a seizure, I found it odd that it happened right after I gave this product to her. As of now, we are still waiting for her to be checked up by the vet.
