K&F Concept 82mm Variable Fader ND2-ND32 ND Filter and CPL Circular Polarizing Filter 2 in 1 for Camera Lens No X Spot Waterproof Scratch Resistant (Nano-X Series)

Since I started doing long exposures , my variable ND filter of choice was Vivitar. It's worked great over the years but I was in need of a new filter.Since I also own a K&F Concept tripod, and they've treated me well, I decided to give this filter a try. What could be cooler than an ND filter and a circular polarizer in one?! And I'm glad that I did!This filter works incredibly well. With my old ND filter, I had to stack a separate circular polarizer on top which would lead to vignetting on my widest shots. With the K&F Concept 2-in-1 filter, that no longer appears to be a concern at 18mm. At 10mm, I've noticed a very slight vignetting which is almost unnoticeable. But, it's definitely a huge improvement over filter stacking.While it may require 2 hands, this filter is very easy to adjust. It also feels well built and sturdy.All in all, this filter was well worth the money invested.

Another well designed and implemented filter. Perfectly fit the bill and does what is advertised.Box for carrying the filter is nicely crafted as well.And, microfiber cloths are well appreciated.

These pictures were both shot with an 1.4 aperture in the middle of the day at a shutter speed of 400. Normally to use F1.4 during the day I essentially have to max out my shutter speed just to get something semi usable. And even then the exposure is usually blown out. But with my shutter speed not even half way maxed out I’ve got a completely usable photo that with room to further fine tune if needed. Plus I have the added benefit of having a polarizer lens so I won’t have to worry about reflections in that harsh lighting! Honestly get it. There’s no real reason not to.

I’ve used this filter extensively for the last 6 months and can say that this is a fantastic budget option for those needing filters.I will say that during my use I have encountered a subtle vignette when using telephoto lenses at their minimum focal range(I had to purchase step up filter rings so it is technically not supposed to be used in this way), but on the lens filter size it was designed for it had no such issue.During a nighttime photo shoot in the city I hadn’t properly secured the camera to my tripod and it fell about 5ft lens filter first. It survived with only a dent in the metal housing and some paint chipped off. It retains full functionality and saved my 700$ lens it was threaded onto. Just for that it deserves the stars.

I purchased one of these filters to try it out because I was tired of stacking a fixed ND & a CPL filter.I fell in love with the results & bought 4 more in various filter thread sizes so that all my lenses had one of these CPL+VND filters available without the need for a step up ring.100% worth the investment for both photo & video of automobiles or really anything that would benefit from having this level of control over both your ND & CPL at the same time.I use one of these filters for LITERALLY every single outdoor daytime shot not, EVERY SINGLE ONE WITHOUT FAIL.Can't say enough good things about these filters for my line of work!!!& yes, I paid out of pocket for all the filters, not sponsored.

If you are looking to get into car photography or are already in it, this is a must! The build quality is 10/10 and the image quality stays the same. Yes their might be a tiny change but unless you are a pixel peeper you won't notice the difference. It's nice to change, and eliminate the glare of the sun on cars that are on the body but also the windshield. The only thing that is slightly annoying is when I move the ND it sometimes moves the cpl slider and can change and image so be aware. But over all if taking pictures of car I set the ND first, then rotate the cpl filter. I usually leave this filter on all the time no matter what I shoot since it really does not affect the image quality, and have the ND set to Min. I highly recommend!
