Best Key Lime Juice!
Great juice, and tastes better than the same brand in plastic bottles. First time I've used the glass bottle one. Downside is you have to keep it refrigerated, and you don't have to do that for the plastic bottle ones. Wish it wasn't quite so expensive, but still give it 5 stars.

Excellent for Key Lime Pie without the mess.
I am a repeat buyer of this product through Amazon. Love it. Very good taste and quality makes a mean Key Lime Pie.

Good Stuff
Good stuff and it does the trick for a key lime pie as well as salsa. One of the bottles cap was loose and that gave me some pause, but it was fine.

Got to make key lime pie. Too bitter for me. Maybe good in other things

Don’t buy! Delivered Brown &Thick b4 opening
The media could not be loaded. After years of being on Amazon this is my first review! I felt the need to warn other consumers, because I would want to be warned regarding a product could possibly get me sick and that’s not refundable …. Especially for consumers that don’t know what fresh key lime should look like upon arrival.I’m so disgusted… I expected fresh key lime juice, but instead a bottle of thick, brown tinted and distasteful spoiled product was delivered. After reading the label I was real impressed with the ingredients not having any preservatives.. just key lime. So I decided to try this brand, but sadly I was immediately disappointed! I will go back to my previous brand even though they have gone up on their price… or just squeeze my own from the store. Better safe than sick!I use key lime juice every morning in warm water for years. Immediately after opening I always pour into ice trays and freeze.and place a cube in glass of warm water. Therefore, I know my key lime juice and believe me it shouldn’t have a brown tint, thick and smelly upon arrival….Yes, it’s true after you have opened the bottle often it will eventually have a brown tint but once it has thickened it is no longer good. It shouldn’t arrive brown tint , thick and smelly….The expiration date on the bottle was not expired. So I’m not sure if this product went bad while manufacturing, or it has been sitting in a hot warehouse, not sealed properly sitting on a hot truck or just not moving in sales, so they push it off on customers… but whatever the problem is, it’s not healthy for consumers…. or cost effective when you can’t get your money back!Don’t believe the hype! Fresh key lime juice does not have a brown tint especially before you open the bottle and definitely shouldn’t be thick with a horrible smell…I believe they say it’s normal for key lime to have a brown tint to keep sales, but what they are not saying is… it shouldn’t have a brown tint before you open it only eventually after you’ve opened, but it should never be thick or smell… key lime has a distinct fresh aroma .Hopefully this company will get themselves together….

Wonderful Product!
Oh, my goodness! I opened one bottle (I ordered two), took a whiff of it, and knew this was the best ever key lime juice I'd ever find! Upon tasting it, I was delighted that the flavor wasn't overly tart, like some key lime flavorings. I've added 2 tablespoons of it to 2 quarts of Crystal Light fruit punch, and it blends well with the fruit punch; I didn't get a sour or upset stomach after drinking it.I'll be making a cake that calls for lime curd with this product, and I'm expecting the curd will turn out well. After I've actually made the cake, I will post my taste-test results. The label instructions tell you to immediately put the bottle(s) in the refrigerator upon receiving the product, NOT after you've opened the bottle, which I did. Since this product does not have preservatives, I need to find out how long the juice is good.**UPDATE: I searched Nellie and Joe's website FAQ's and found the following helpful information:1. How long is the juice good? The juice is guaranteed up to the “Best By” date printed on the neck of the bottle. You should refrigerate the container after purchase, and we do not recommend using after the “Best By” date.I received the juice on 04/10, and the "Best By" date on both bottles is December 15, 2016. So, there is plenty of time for all those key-lime recipes I plan to make!2. The juice was not refrigerated when I purchased it, so why do I have to refrigerate it now? While the juice is shelf-stable until opened, refrigerating the product after purchase will dramatically slow down the darkening of the juice.3. The juice is starting to turn brown. What does that mean? This is a normal occurrence that takes place in citrus products and does not affect the quality of the juice. Refrigerating after purchase will dramatically slow down the darkening process. The product is good through the “Best By” date printed on the bottle.Lastly, the bottle's label has Nellie and Joe's Key Lime Pie recipe, which I'll try after making the lime-curd cake.Enjoy.

Reliably the best key lime pie essential ever!
One of my daughters in law is a key lime pie lover and connoisseur - at least she tells me she tries key lime pies everywhere and the one I make for her is her favorite...smart girl : )There is a recipe on the Nellie and Joe's jar and it's failsafe. I make my own crust and double every ingredient in the recipe because my pie dish is deep. I also spread my homemade whipped cream over the whole top and make sure the crust is nice and thick. My last suggestion is to reduce the sugar in the crust and the whipped cream by half of what is in the recipe. I promise you'll love making Key Lime Pie with these directions and wonderful Nellie and Joe's Key Lime Juice~!

Key Lime Baby!
As a FL native who's picked many Key lime trees, this is the real deal. I'll keep a bottle or 2 just incase Key limes are not in season.. I buy this one and not the bigger plastic one because I'm sure the plastic one is regular lime.Glass one is Key lime..........Huge difference.. remember folks that no Key lime pie is ever green.....not even the zest.( zest only the yellowish part of Key lime).
