Armor3 “NuType” Wired Keyboard for Nintendo Switch

I see some other people have had connectivity issues with this, but I haven't had a single problem yet after a month of pretty steady use. Honestly, this cute little guy does the job just fine. I bought a game on the Switch that necessitated a keyboard, so I took the plunge and crossed my fingers there wouldn't be any issues. I needn't have worried. My Switch recognized it immediately and gave me zero guff when I used it on the game -- no lag, no skipped keys, no compatibility issues. I've really enjoyed playing on it and am looking forward to getting more games in the future that make use of it.Go ahead and get this, it's exactly what you're looking for.

First of all, this will not necessarily work for gaming so lower your expectations a bit. For text entry though, it's ideal. I use it with Game Builder Garage to enter text and comments. It works with no issues right out of the box, just plug it in. You may not like the way the keys feel, but it does it's job well. And I love the fact that I can attach the joycons to it. They're held just as firmly as if they were attached to the Switch. Overall, definitely worth it.

it works nicely as a keyboard but the layout takes some geting used to since its so compact. cable is about 10 feet long and reaches nicely from my switch dock to my desk. it does NOT charge your joycons though so you still have to dock those when youre done playing to charge them.for those curious the game on my tv is "sky children of the light".

The keyboard stopped working after the first use. I ended up returning it for a refund

Bought this to type easily in the chat while playing Warframe. Just plug it straight into the usb port on the dock & start typing, No need for adapters. I highly recommend it!

I bought this knowing it might not be useful/ergonomic. Even operating with the assumption that this keyboard is a fun novelty, I still had to return it. The majority of the home row and the space bar didn't work, period. Basically you can't type anything on it. This keyboard is PUNY! You can't really touch type on it. It would have been better if the bezel around the keys was smaller.The keys themselves are very mushy membranes. They're not wonderful, but they're perfectly responsive and get the job done.You'll enjoy this product way more if you think of it as a big chat pad rather than a small keyboard.It doesn't charge the Joy-cons, it only holds them. Something to keep in mind.Overall it's great for communicating with your team in Monster Hunter, for nicknaming Pokemon, and for looking up YouTube videos.

I bought this as kind of a "I dont really need this but I do" purchase, and i did not expect it to be so responsive and useful, it feels amazing and fun to click and the keyboard works perfectly for games that require keyboard chat, totally recommend, great product
