Fantastic build and great value for money phone.
I read this phone's review and seen the YouTube review, both contradictory, thought to buy as its price is now around 3k. Well using this phone I found not even a single problem as reviewers saying about this phone except battery that drains fast but as it is 4g capable it happens but not always if it is not in use. Nokia made fantastic phone and far far better than jio phone 1 and 2 but price was higher than the value of the phone, today around 3k it is best to buy. It is dual 4g, good sound and call quality.

this is NOT basic smart phone
OS - KaiOs is not so great in terms of speed and performance. Hung many timesBuild - Not user friendly, Not easy to type through keypad ( may be because we are used to Android/iOS phones)battery life is not more than a day (without wifi, bt, gps). So it is big let down from Nokiawhatsapp - it is having light weight version. Does not support all the original features. cannot download more than 8 mb files, cannot do QR scan so that you can use web.app. it is one of the big let down.comes with pre-installed Jio apps. So there are many apps which you don't need and you cannot uninstall. So you cannot free up the spacecamera - is fine for the price you payRecommendation - this is not the basic smart phone. My suggestion is to go either with basic phone or smart phone (andriod or iOS), not in betweenThere is a room for improvements from KaiOS and Nokia, but I don't think they are interested in this kind of market

Good Hardware, Poor Software
Like most Nokia number-pad phones, this one too is made of plastic, feels rugged, built-to-last, excellent call quality, powerful antenna and replaceable battery. The sliding numberpad cover adds oodles of style, is a head-turner, but also increases the length of the phone unnecessarily. The curvature is a big blessing - for traditional Nokia basic phones, the speaker used to lie flush on the back of the phone, so if you rest the phone on its back you can't hear incoming call ringing tone - this problem is solved with the curvature. Now you can keep the phone in whatever position, you can still hear an incoming call. All its disadvantages lie in the software (or OS). It is a pain to use - unintuitive and very slow in responding to key-strokes. Even simple things like adding a new Contact or typing a short SMS is a laborious exercise (remember I am a long time and still existing user of Nokia number-pad phones). This phone is best for elderly people who don't tinker too much with it after it is set-up. And do remember to switch off Internet, Facebook, Wi-Fi, etc. as they are activated by default. Another pain is the charger that is packaged with it - it is a measly 0.5 A charger, when even older and cheaper Nokia numberpad phones came with 1 A charging which charges the whole battery in less than 1 hour. This charger takes 2-3 hours of very slow charging - very frustrating.Overall a good phone, does what it is meant to do, somewhat expensive but hopefully will last years and years.

Good KaiOs phone for this price range. Would be great if the team could get WhatsApp web to work.
- good battery life even with using 4G data and hotspot on- Good anthropometric design. The curve gives a better grip to hold and speak.- decent 2MP rear camera- YouTube streaming good for a 512MB ram phone.- very good sound quality over phone calls- good for seniors even if the keypad is slightly small to use.Things that could have been better- It would be a great office use phone if I could use WhatsApp web. (Main factor for returning this phone) since there's no availability for WhatsApp voice/video call, WhatsApp web would be a good option to send and receive documents over a PC.- YouTube could stream with the slider closed (with display on) since its difficult to place phone in bag/pocket with the slider open.- would be a brilliant phone if there was an option to tune FM radio stations and "play on bluetooth device" along with the already available option of "play on speaker"

Not worthy to buy
Pros: 4G phoneCons: Battery life is very very poor, if you use 4G for usual stuff, its battery dies down with in 8 hrsIt has pre-installed jio apps, which cannot be removedResponse of the phone is very poor, it hangs quite oftenKeypad is poor, single click always writes 2 alphabets or numbersIts brightness automatically drops down to 10 %, however, it will show that its at 50 %, daily I have to change it back to 50 %Takes about 3-4 hrs to get fully charged

Good value for Money
One of the best phone in this price. I bought it for my mom in law. This is trendy and amazing. She is not much into WhatsApp and stuff. For this, this phone is the best use. Simple and yet amazing to use. Has a decent battery life and performance till date (close of 4 months of usage) has been amazing.

Riddled with bloated software and overheating issues
Please don't buy this phone. The OS version on this phone is the one for Jio Phone. All the Jio Bloatware is pre-installed and you cannot delete those apps. The os version is stuck at v10 while the global version (non-indian variants) is v16. Nokia nowhere mentioned about pre installed Jio bloatware. Also, If you are thinking of purchasing this phone just for hotspot, the phone will overheat within 15-20 minutes if more than one devices are connected at same time or if the device is on charging which results in temporary network interruption. The phone sound quality is okay but loudspeaker is terrible.Keypad buttons are too small to use properly and sometimes a single button press will be registered multiple times. If you don't have any problems with bloatware and just want a phone with VOLTE support with around 5-6 hours battery backup, maybe this phone is for you. Otherwise please don't purchase this.
