Superb
It exceeded my expectations. The body is all metal as advertised and the doors and hoods are solid and metal as well. The quality of all parts is excellent, well made. The lights are strong and make an impression, not just a dim glow. Note that when they said "siren" I assumed an audio sound, but it's a flashing bulb on the top of the car that they call a siren, which is fine just know that the car makes no sound. The Batman and Robin figures are quality too, I didn't expect the capes to move. Robin stands solid but Batman can tip easily for some reason, not a problem and he won't fall over on his own it just takes a steady hand to set him up.

Solid and nicely detailed Batmobile
Nice high quality detailed Batmobile. Very satisfied and I love it! I am 65 and this is the inky real Batmobile for me so Much so that I dreamt about it when I was around 10 years old.

Very well made
I am one of those people who grew up watching and loving the late1960s TV Batman series. This Batmobile reproduction is a dream collectible for us. As others have mentioned, if the theme song would play at the touch of a button, it would be even more incredible. But, hey, nothing is perfect. This die cast Batmobile is beautiful, sturdy, doors and trunks open and the lights can be turned on! Even the interior detailing of the car is well reproduced. The Batman and Robin small figurines are sharp and even have the right attitude (Whoa, tiny plastic boy wonder, relax, tiny Batman will use his tiny Bat-belt and save the day) And, yes, I'll be a bit picky in the sense that the color of the decorating accent lines on the car are originally red, and in this reproduction they are are more orange. Other than that, this car rocks. Even the box is spectacular.

Awesome!
Very good details. Great on a motorized turntable. Be wary of the on off switch, it can be sensitive.

Not the Dumbest $60 I've ever spent...
...but I think that says more about me than the product. All right-- so this is THE Batmobile-- the real one to a lot of us. The coolest live action superhero car, ever. Period. There have been some that come close but the Barris Batmobile still reigns surpreme. This is a hefty model-- it's got good solid weight. It comes in a box that is going to take you 10 mins to get it out of, and then if you're like me you'll turn on the lights put it on your shelf and think "Okay, so why did I spend $60 on this?" Well, because it's cool. It's about 11" long so I think that makes it not quite 1/18 scale, the doors, hood and trunk open. It lights up-- there is no siren, I think they meant "beacon" because that lights up. It would have been neat if there was a turbine sound with it. I would have also liked the option to press a button and the lights go off for a minute or two, instead the switch is located under the car and you have to pick it up to turn it off.The figures are each about 3" tall and they are extremely well done. In the bootleg days before we had any '66 Batman merchandise I probably would have dropped $60 on these alone. Very cool, a little clumsy but they capture the spirit of Adam West and Burt Ward. Robin can stand in his seat in the Batmobile for display purposes but poor Batman kind of looks like he's trying to remember where he left his keys. The wheels roll but they don't turn so you can escape from the Penguin but you're only going in a straight line. I'm not sure I'd give this to a kid because they could kill someone if they threw this, it's more for us grown ups who still cling to our toy memories. It's neat. Four stars because it's expensive and you have to manually lift the car to put the lights on and that's about it. Diamond Select did a great Lost in Space Robot that lights up and talks at the press of a button and after a minute he shuts up and reverts to being a toy. This would have benefited from that.

Batmobile 1966 Die Cast Model Car Light Up
Great die cast model Batmobile of the 1966 tv show. Terrific detail from the red pin strips that highlight the vehicles body line to the working head and taillights. Has functional doors, hood & trunk that opens, it’s a great replica of Batman’s ride. Would say it’s just about as cool as the Corgi Batmobile that was produced during and after the tv series. Though this die cast is much bigger.
