Fantastic!
Wow! Talk about a Surprise?! I purchased these for myself as I wanted to try something different and more up to date.....I Love these!! I was very skeptical upon receiving these however they hold the makeup very well, are so easy to use and allow for those fine lines to be covered completely. They are easy to grip & stay firmly in your fingers & hand while using.I can only fault one thing is I wish they were a bit larger however this is a personal choice. Each sponge cleans up nicely with simple soap & water.Very happy with purchase.

Not good for waterproof/fast drying foundations
Works for most liquids or creams but I have found it works terrible for waterproof foundations that need to be put on quickly in smaller areas and blended into skin. These applicators can cause streaks and some foundations dry too quickly to adequately blend properly.

Used Product Received
I was so excited to get these silicone facial sponges from DSYJ today, but unfortunately, my excitement turned into quite a disappointment. They were NOT individually-wrapped or sealed for personal use, which shouldn't be a big deal... But as I opened them up for inspection, I found that one of the makeup sponges had a thin layer of dried foundation (which appeared to have been wiped with a tissue).Well, as I did not purchase a USED item, and as I do not know who used it, I'm going to return it back to seller (hope no one gets the ones I returned). As you can see from the pictures I posted, there's a "before" and "after cleaning" of the dirty sponge piece (I washed it with water and soap). At least the other piece is new (or was just better cleaned prior to being packed/shipped).Pretty gross and unethical to sell used makeup products as if they were new.

Great for foundation disbursement
There are a few things I like about these 'sponges'. Hands down I use way less product compared to a beauty blender sponge--at least 1/3 less maybe half. It's also very easy to clean. I always have a baby wipe out when I'm doing my make up, so I love being able to wipe it down and be done with it.My only negative is that I can't for the life of me get a smooth application. Now I did find moderate success by doing very small amounts of foundation at a time, like pea sized. But that is tedious and still not a great finish. I use this to initially apply and disburse my foundation, then I follow up with a beauty blender (or knock off) to finish.

Seemed like a good idea
When I read this product description I thought... this will last longer and be easier to clean on a regular basis (ie more sanitary). One use and I realized that I just didn't like the feel of the silicone on my skin. I missed the type of application I get from a sponge. Its great that it doesn't absorb the foundation, and you can use less product to cover your face. The gel feel of the silicone is easy to grip and easy to use. It just felt like it was smearing around the foundation rather than working it in, and I would just have to go back over it with an actual sponge or my fingers to really get the application I wanted. It seemed like a good idea but I just didn't like the feel.

Love
Such a good deal getting two both in cases for under six dollars! there's definitely a learning curve in using less foundation. I recommend first applying your foundation with this silisponge and then going in with a normal makeup sponge like a beauty blender to really mesh it in with your skin. I get best results with this technique, I find it kinda sits on top on the skin just with the silicone.

Great product
Silicone "sponges" are absolutely the best way to put on make-up. Much smoother than any brush. Wastes virtually no makeup. These are terrific. Most silicone makeup sponges are very similar - what makes this one better is that it is relatively firm and it comes with a small box. The box / case is perfect. Also great price

just okay...
I liked the concept for this product, but in reality, it left streaks when putting on the foundation, that I have to go over with a brush anyway. Maybe it needs a specific type of foundation to work well?
