BodyproxProtective Padded Shorts for Snowboard,Skate and Ski,3D Protection for Hip,Butt and Tailbone

So happy I splurged a bit on safety gear and got these! I use them while roller skating and I tend to always fall on my rear end! these have saved me from bruises while I go through the learning curve that is keeping my skates under me. I tend to wear them under a skirt and you can't even tell I'm wearing them! You can also rock them over your pants and they're not overly noticeable. They work great and the size I got fit PERFECTLY. They are really comfortable but they do get hot when your exercising but completely worth it to not get banged up. Remember, whether your skating, snowboarding, whatever, you're going to fall, it's unavoidable, so prepare for the fall and you'll have a lot more fun! I'm advising everyone I know who wants to learn one of these sport to get some crash pants! For me, they've been worth every penny and have given me a lot more confidence to push my boundaries!

I wear this for skaeboarding, inline skating, and snowboarding. It's held up well and I'm happy with the quality. I've washed it a few times and have no issues with ripping or degradation.

I bought these in January 2019 and after 4 + seasons it's time to retire them based on my photo and they probably should have been retired a year before that. Padded shorts are meant to be replaced every so often depending on how often you use them. I don't go snowboarding without them and usually, I'm on the mountain 4-12 times a month during the snow season. The other reviews of people saying the seams are broken/open are true. For the 1st 2 years, I had to stitch them closed again, but that was an easy fix because I have a sewing machine. I also like sewing so I didn't mind. The idea of removable pads for easy washing was a win for me because I also get sweaty down there when I hit the slopes. I obviously fall on my tailbone the most because the pad for the tailbone has been so worn out and thin compared to the hip bone pad in my photo. These are budget-padded shorts so I didn't have high expectations of them but are great for beginners. They served their purpose and I was happy with them even if I had to stitch up the seams. I wish Bodyprox would sell replacement pads though.

They are a little uncomfortable to wear at first but they get the job done! They do absorb water that comes through my snow pants, but they dry extremely fast. If you’re looking for a better alternative to the turtle for your butt these work!!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have not yet fallen in this item so my review is for sizing only.I usually wear female M or size 8 or 10 jeans depending on brand. I bought these paddded shorts in Medium and they were far too big. I just received the small and they are comfortable and not tight at all.

These are pretty awesome. I have around a 32" waist and 5'9" tall. I originally ordered a large but sent back and ordered two small. They fit perfectly. I can't wait to ride with confidence. Exactly what I was looking for to ride MTB. Oh, i'm not sure why there are so many reviews concerning quality. They appear to be well made to me. The holes are to remove the pads for washing the shorts. I think that is pretty obvious.
