Quick wear of Big Wheel
My 5 year old grandson loves it. He has only ridden it for just over a month though and the big wheel has worn through in two spots. I remember as a kid my big wheel doing the same thing. He manages to get pretty good speed out of it and rides over curbs and lots of bumps. Over all it has held up great except for the worn out spots from heavy braking on concrete and asphalt. I just recently purchased a different big wheel from Radio Flyer that has a beefed up big wheel with a rubberized tread all the way around for traction and for braking. We shall see how that one pans out with his rough riding.

Okay for the most part
Bought this for my son, it's fairly easy to build but it had some issues, one of the tires had plastic remaining in the middle and I had to push the rear axel through fairly hard to get it out, the fork was almost too small to put around the front wheel so I was lucky in that regard, and lastly the extra "tools" that are given to help assemble are irrating to use when attemping to hammer the back cap and washer onto place. On the looks though my son enjoys it and has been having a blast riding it so after the assembly it's a fun toy which is why I gave it a medium rating.

Angering Assembly Required
I got this for my son for his birthday. It does not come preassembled, which generally I'm okay with. Except this is NOT easy to assemble. I got so frustrated with just the first step that I wanted to throw my hammer out my window. You have start with attempting to hammer the end cap onto the axle. Easier said than done. The stupid cap and washer kept sliding off the capnut tool provided with the box. It takes a lot of force to get the axle hammered into the cap and the pieces constantly slip off as you are hammering. I eventually gave up and had to get my husband to attempt to put it together. He had just as difficult time as I did. My son enjoyed once it was actually together, but I'm not confident the caps are securely on the axle and I'm just waiting for the thing to fall apart. This thing needs to come preassembled. I've never been so frustrated when trying to assemble a toy, and I have assembled bikes.

Good for all ages
We have 3 of these and my kids love them. I have a 3,5, and 7 yr old and they all enjoy them and fit on them well. They were easy to assemble and have held up for the 2 months I’ve had them. Great quality and great price. Tried to buy them in the stores and they were significantly more expensive. Couldn’t price match because of the color (it wasn’t exactly the same as the store one) so decided to order this one. Well worth the 2 day wait.

Big Wheels All the Way
The only issue I have with this Big Wheel is the pedal installation. My nephew loves it, colors are great, wheels are great, etc. The only issue I have is that when installing the pedals you have to hammer a certain way to get them through this locking washer and it can be very difficult.

Awesome big wheel;)
You can't go wrong with buying a big wheel toy for your kiddo on his birthday. This was such an amazing deal. My husband took about 30 minutes to assemble and that also includes putting the decals on. It seems very sturdy and put together very well. We are very pleased with this purchase
