An Excellent Place To Start (And It Has The Leopard!)
The Innova Beginner Disc Golf Set is the perfect introduction to disc golf, providing a well-rounded selection of discs that make learning the game a smooth and enjoyable experience. The standout driver in this set is the Leopard, which offers incredible ease of use for beginners. It delivers impressive distance with minimal effort, making it a go-to choice for learning proper form and maximizing drives. Its smooth, understable flight allows new players to achieve controlled shots while developing their technique. For fairway play, the Shark is an absolute gem. This midrange disc flies beautifully straight, offering consistent accuracy and reliable glide. Whether you need a controlled approach or a confident fairway shot, the Shark excels at staying on its intended path, making it one of the best beginner-friendly discs for precision play.Rounding out the set is the Aviar, a high-quality putter known for its dependable grip and smooth release. Whether sinking short putts or executing controlled approach shots, the Aviar provides the consistency that new players need to build confidence around the basket.Overall, the Innova Beginner Disc Golf Set is a fantastic starter pack that helps players develop their skills with discs that feel natural, forgiving, and effective. If you're stepping into the sport for the first time, this set is an absolute must-have!Here are the flight ratings for the discs in the Innova Beginner Disc Golf Set:Leopard (Fairway Driver) – Speed: 6, Glide: 5, Turn: -2, Fade: 1Shark (Midrange) – Speed: 4, Glide: 4, Turn: 0, Fade: 2Aviar (Putter) – Speed: 2, Glide: 3, Turn: 0, Fade: 1These ratings make them excellent choices for beginners, offering easy control, reliable stability, and smooth flights. The Shark and The Aviar are excellent for practicing forehand shots as well.

Great starter disc set
These discs offer great value for the money, especially if you can catch them on sale. The quality seems to be good, and I have been happy with their performance when I play. I also like the colors and designs of the discs that I received, but that may not be the case for everyone as you don't get to choose the colors.I would recommend this disc set for someone who wants to get into disc golf but doesn't want to spend a lot of money on discs, especially if they are not concerned about the colors of the discs.

Good for beginners -- inexpensive to test with
Read all the reviews and got just what I expected. No problems with the discs as delivered, NOT USED as some adverse reviews commented. Weight were right on the mark in agreement with my own kitchen scale. As a beginner, like me, you will not get these discs to fly 100 or 200 yards -- that only comes with practice, practice, practice and good technique and better discs. Start with these, everything i have read says you won't be able to toss better discs at the start. I am a former athlete, but older now and arm strength is not what I had when I played baseball. Just starting out, two weeks in, about 5 days throwing, I can only manage about 50 yards (sometimes the putter goes as far as the other discs), and I think I could never get to 100 yards with these, no way. But that may be more me than the discs. If you can get close to 100 yards with the driver and mid-range with this set on most all your shots, you probably are ready to buy better discs. I am very satisfied with this purchase (got 2 sets) -- as advertised and per all good reviews and came quickly.

Great for first timer.
This was my first set of disks. Innova makes these same disks out of higher quality plastics at a higher price point. My set sustained some nice chunks from hitting trees and rocks. I don't know if the more expensive ones would hold up better. I love the Aviar. It flies very straight. As a beginner you could easily start with just this disk. The Leopard and Shark work good as well. I don't use the Shark much yet but the Leopard is a very capable driver.

GET THESE AND DONT WASTE MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
If you want to take up disc golf this started set is HIGHLY recommended before you go pay a lot of money for discs you won't be able to throw. The numbers on disc have a purpose and you need to research it and then go throw these before going to buy more expensive and less forgiving discs. They are not as durable as other higher end plastics but you can get plenty of rounds out of them. Over time, the ware and tear will make the disc fly differently but that doesn't mean they are useless.By the way, I bought these. A week later I went to Sporting Goods Store and bought 4 more drivers because I thought after a week I was knoelageble enough. I WAS NOT. I paid 25 dollars for a driver that I cannot and will probably never be able to throw so my review is my cautionary tale. This set is PERFECT for beginners and the Leopard Driver is still one of my two go to drivers.

I'm hooked
We just started playing disc golf and I'm hooked. It's a great way to spend some time outdoors with friends, family, or solo. These discs will get you started with your fun. After you develop some skills and want to improve your game, you can upgrade to more expensive discs. After 6 months of hitting trees (and you'll hit a lot of trees), you'll get a few knicks around the disc. One of our 9 discs eventually cracked in the center, but you pay little to nothing to play and these disc golf sets are cheap enough to buy to replace them.If you have disc golf courses where you live, buy these and go play.
