I had difficulty with instructions, but THIS IS A GOOD PRODUCT
This uses AAA batteries. they are easier to change when mounted than watch batteries which is why I bought them. You can have one remote control several or have up to eight remotes control one. Choice between doorbell noise or loud alarm (or off or panic mode). Alarm is loud and runs for 30 seconds even if you shut the door again, pauses for 15 seconds and will reset if the door is shut or sound again if it is not. Can be shut off with the remote. If a remote is not pared with that particular alarm, it will not work, so you can't just buy a remote and shut off someone's alarms Remote Control Code Pairing The main unit and the remote control have been coded-pairing at the factory, so the remote control can be used without any setting by yourself. How to enter the code pairing state: Press the [UNLOCK] disarm key of the remote control to enter the disarm mode, press and hold the [BELL] code pairing key for 10s (ignore the bell/- chime sound from the main unit), and release it when you hear a “Bi” sound from the main unit. Then the main unit has entered the code pairing state. Pairing the second remote or more remotes: After the main unit has entered the code pairing state, immediately press the arm or disarm key of the un-coded remote control [UNLOCK/LOCK], the main unit will emit two “Bi Bi” sounds to indicate successful pairing. Using this method, one main unit can code up to 8 remote controls. Delete all pairs of codes: After entering the code pairing state by referring to the method in 5.5.1, immediately press the emergency key of the remote control [LIGHTNING BOLT], the main unit will emit a ‘Bi’ sound, and all the remote controllers connected to the main unit will be deleted from the code pairing information. * - THIS DELETES ALL REMOTES INCLUDING THE ONE I WAS USING - * How to code the first remote control: take out the batteries of the main unit, re-install the batteries after 2 minutes, press and hold down the [BELL] code key within 2s after you hear the ‘Bi’ sound from the main unit, * - AND KEEP IT PRESSED - * the the main unit will emit the ‘Bi’ sound after about 10s, at this time, release the code key, and then press the arm or disarm key, the main unit will emit 2 “Bi Bi” to indicate the success of the code pairing. i HAD PROBLEMS FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS

Well made, works very well
Works very well. Alarm is very loud and so is the chime (a little too loud ). I purchased 3 alarms with 3 remotes. I programmed all three of the alarms to work with one remote. The directions are a little confusing but once you figure it out, it is easy. Not sure how long the batteries last ( I just installed them today ). I installed them because we have a grandson and a swimming pool.

Works inside of my steel safe
I wanted something extra to make noise when my steel safe was opened without my consent. I mounted the alarm box inside the safe. I placed the magnetic strip on the door. I used double sided tape to hold them in place. I didn't use the provided tape since I was doing an unusual install and already had the perfect sized tape for it. But that seemed of high quality. I am able to activate/deactivate the alarm when the safe is closed and locked using the remote. I can hear the alarm/beeps when safe is closed, but more importantly it's very loud when opened (despite being muffed by 3 steel walls). Though I can hear it on the floor above me, I can't really hear it on the third floor. Very loud. Loud enough to make a point. Any louder would be overkill for me. When the batteries start to die in the alarm, it makes a creepy sound like a Geiger counter. I'm sure this was unintentional but I actually like that. It's a unique sound in my home of so many sounds. Generic dollar store batteries lasted about 2 months of daily usage. If you put this on a door/window in your house, it will surely wake you up.

Almost perfect
This is the only door alarm so far that is skinny enough to fit in our small door jam area (the door is surrounded with thick wall) and I’m glad it is because having the remote really makes it better than most . Without it the neighbors would just get used to the sound going off and it would alert people we are leaving . The other great feature is it continues to sound the alarm for 30 seconds when the door opens, even if the door is closed , unless you have the remote . Our camera has a slight delay, but even if the delay is 15 seconds , it will still catch the alarm going off for another 15 seconds , which is great. The only issue we have is that it only comes with one remote , and there doesn’t seem to be an option to purchase another one separately. I wouldnt necessarily Take a whole star off for that, except now I have To make sure to be home before my fiancé if I’ve set the alarm , which means we’re gonna have to buy a whole additional set for just the remote and hope that pairs with the original alarm. Because of that I guess I’ll take a star off . Otherwise we really do love how well it works, fitting in place, the tape works well, the remote is great and the fact that you need it to stop it from going off is even better . It’s loud enough but not so incredibly ear piercing that setting it is uncomfortable. And I should Mention when I first Got it there was no battery for the alarm itself , although the remote had batteries. I tried some old AAA and it seemed like it would only chirp instead of setting the alarm off , but , when I put Fresh ones in it worked perfectly fine . Update : I ordered Another one simply so that we would have 2 remotes because without the second remote it renders it practically useless since I cant Arm it unless I am The first to return home . It was a bit difficult to understand the instructions on how to synch the new remote to the original alarm and it took a bit of time, but I got It done. I dont Know how we would use the second alarm now because that would also require a remote of its own, and I think This is a major oversight . Aside from that we are very happy with how it’s worked so far. I’m not yet fully accustomed to having it though and have forgotten it was set numerous times which led to awkward scrambling and dropping my things and knocking things over but that’s a me problem lol not a product problem.

I purchased this alarm for my sliding door. It works so well - very loud! My grandchildren are between the ages of 2yrs - 7yrs. We have an inground pool in our backyard. This alarm gives us a peice of mind, although we are still very protective of/watch the kids closely when they come over. Thank you, Katherine Soulliere

husband uses this on his shed and its works very easy to set up, so he is happy with it. edit so less than 3 months and the remote no longer works, but I am not sure if it's the remote or not, checked the batter it's fine but it no longer turns it off or on. well it turned out the remote has just stopped working but after reaching out to the seller/company they got me to try and reprogram the remote which I was really hoping it was going to work, but it turn out that the disarm button on the remote was no longer worked and they refunded me, very good company and would gladly do business again these things can happen and they handled it great, thanks very much, great seller/company, so they deserve 5 stars
