Knights Armament Company Kac 300M Micro Flip Rear Sight Blk

This is the KAC micro 300m sight. It can be considered a fixed elevation sight with windage adjustment.I also have the 600m sight that you adjust elevation with a drum around the peep stand. This cannot be adjusted at all.I always thought that you needed a range/elevation adjustment in a sight but after years of shooting I cannot use iron sights anymore past 100 yards. Matter of fact, lately I found shooting 25 yards to be harder to do with just iron sights. With that said, I mainly use optics to shoot, even at 25 yards. I find that beyond that I cannot see very well.I liked the 600m sight but I found I never adjusted elevation. So I got these micro sights for a new build and I found it to be really slick looking. It folds nearly away from my optic and looks nice. Overall it gives a very nice peep hole so you can see very clearly. Overall very impressive and I was very surprised to see it on amazon. I am thinking about buying more for my previous builds and selling my 600m sights off.

Love it. Exactly what I needed. I first tried the KAC 200-600m buis but the aperture was too small. I returned it for this sight and it's perfect for my applications. I don't forsee myself ever taking a shot at 300m since most ranges near me are 100-200m so the 200-600 was overkill. If I do need to take 300m+ shot, i seriously doubt it would be with this buis anyway since I have an Aimpoint Comp M4s mounted on my AR and the thing simply won't crap out. With that said, the KAC 300m buis is the perfect back up for my needs. There were not very many reviews of the 300m online so I hope this helps. I plan on buying more for future builds
