RED HEART Colorscape Yarn, Montreal

Love this yarn for the bright & happy colors (Acapulco). My friends love it too. I’ve posted a photo of some WIPs. The downfalls is this is not a yarn to practice a new stitch on. It is quite difficult to pull apart or “frog”. I’ve done it but it’s not easy. It sturdy and beautiful. Not the softest but not scratchy or cheap looking. Update: also bought the grey and pink. Pretty. See pics.

I'm new to crochet but I wanted a variety of colors. This crocheted up beautifully into a beanie and a scarf. I loved that there were no knots in the middle. The yarn felt nice and I wasn't unraveling it.Only thing I didn't like was the price, but I didn't feel like running to the craft store or Walmart for yarn, so that is on me.Shipping was great and yarn arrived nicely packaged.

I love the quality, softness and durability in this yarn. I'll either use it for a shawl, scarf or wrap for myself. I've only made scarves so I'm looking forward to a challenge.I think I deserve something new and hopefully pretty for myself!

The colors are beautiful. It is soft but feels durable as well. I made a cowl and hat set for winter. The yarn was very easy to work with which is not always the case. Even though it is pricier than I usually pay it is worth the cost.

I'm not usually a fan of red heart yarn, but picked up a ball of this on clearance at my local craft store.I brought it home intending to use it for practicing my tunisian crochet stitches.As I worked with it, I saw a lovely rainbow transition occurring. The pattern repeats steadily instead of at random, so it is much easier to visualize how you want to work with it.Realizing I needed more than the single ball to finish any project, I jumped on here and ordered enough to do so.I ordered 10 and all came from the same dye lot. I'm usually wary of online yarn purchases since same dye lot is not always a guarantee.If you want a sophisticated looking transition and a non-juvenile rainbow palette, this yarn maybe just what you are looking for.

Made a shawl with another color when this was out of stock. Crochets easily; no splits and fairly easy to unravel considering type of yarn. Soft, warm and nice to handle. Washes and machine dries beautifully. Gave as a gift, got my color and this one is mine!

I love this yarn. I am using it to crochet a blanket and the finished product comes out so soft and cozy, not that hard material like some other yarns I have used. Easy to work with.

Used to make C2C. Crochet pillow cover. I did the other side with dark blue. I think it came out great & was very happy with this purchase. I will buy it again in another color. Fun to work with.
