Works great
This cord is a god send for charging Arlo series 5 cameras. It attaches to the cameras well and has a long cord to accommodate charging from a distance

Works beautifully with my Arlo 3 Floodlight
I wanted a floodlight security camera for the dark area at the top of my driveway by the back door of my home. The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight has been such a great choice! I charged it up out of the box and hung it up on the garage with very little trouble. I also bought the magnetic cable and drilled a small hole in the side of my garage and ran the cable inside to an outlet - I will never have to charge it up or change batteries, which is great for ease of use and peace of mind. You do need a subscription for some of the features, but it's worth it. You're huying these cameras for a reason, so don't be cheap. I am able to define activity zones that exclude the street. I have two on this camera, one that includes the driveway, and one that includes the area around the back door. The light is very, very bright, and the clarity of the night vision is truly excellent. There is a siren I've yet to activate, and you can speak to folks through the camera. I did ask the FedEx driver the other day to put the package on the steps instead of on the ground. :) I have set the floodlight to be on long enough for me to get into the house. This is a great piece of equipment and the cost of the subscription is hardly prohibitive. I fully recommend!

What you need, 3rd party has wrong specs
Yes this is expensive, but I ended up purchasing 3 total of these because they work. I first tried 3rd party options and they are questionable. The reason i say this is because 3rd party versions provide 5v via USB-A. I get spotty charging on 3rd party. These Arlo outdoor are 9v wired directly to the plug, which is needed for proper charging and uninterupted power. Constant motion, recording, and spotlight (or floodlight for that model) can cause charging issues with 5v. This is how the spotlight knows if your using a non official plug and goes i to charge only mode. When it gets the 9v it increases brightness on the spotlight and allows you to use charge whileoperating. Do your self a favor and get a reliable factory cable. At least until a 3rd party manufacturer can at least match the proper 9v power requirements for the unit they use. (They use 5v because it's cheap to get 5v plug-ins and use a usb cable with proprietary connectors.) Hopefully this will help someone know why not to go 3rd party based on user experiences alone.

Works well
I plug it in and it will not work so I did some research seems like you have to plug to outlet 1 st then to the camera, I was going to return it but it works pretty well now will keep.

Great Cable
I mounted my Arlo camera and ran this power cable to it. It works perfectly no problems whatsoever.Pay a little more but this is guaranteed to work. I read a lot of people saying don’t fall for the cheaper power cables, they don’t work well.

Faulty Arlo power cable! When connected to a camera, prevents the camera from coming online
I purchased this product to connect to an Arlo Ultra camera. I have 15 active camera in a mixture of Pro 2, Pro 3 and Ultra camera.s I have about 6 older Arlo cameras that I no longer use.I contacted Arlo support to report that the Ultra camera connected to this cable did not work. I reported that I had tried all the troubleshooting steps listed on their community site. They apparently don't really read the support requests because they insisted I do all the steps that I had clearly reported trying. But I did them again. The camera would still not stay online. I know they have a major issue they are aware of with cameras, where you get a random message that the camera is not online, but this was different. It was all the time with one camera. I reported that I tried another camera that had previously worked and attached it to the same power cord of the camera that wasn't working and discovered that the common denominator was the Arlo outdoor power cable. The Smart Hub was in a window not more than 30 feet direct line of sight from the camera. I then deleted the camera and added it without the power cable and worked flawlessly. I then did the same with the original camera and it also worked flawlessly without the Arlo power cable.I asked them to replace the cable, but I was instructed to do all of the same troubleshooting steps I had done and had reported completing already. It's clear they want to wear you out by giving you so many tasks and chores, so you just give up and buy another of their cables. I know there are 3rd party cables, but then if there are issues, they will blame the 3rd party.I searched online and found that faulty power cables are a known and reported problem. This problem has been ongoing since April when I purchased this cable. I have to climb an extension ladder each time I try troubleshooting. I'm not sure why, for a $49 power cable that probably costs them $8, they insist on giving me chores to figure out what is wrong with their product. They should take it back, analyze it but do the right thing by replacing it.They have now closed the ticket with no resolution. Which I guess is my fault because I didn't have time to go through all of the trouble shooting steps they assigned.I have so much invested in this system that I can't justify or afford starting over with another brand, but if I could, I would. Read the reviews, not just on Amazon, and do yourself a favor - Avoid Arlo!

Fit my Arlo Go 2
Wasn’t sure if it fit my Arlo go2 because it mentioned others but not mine so I was concerned it might not work. But it did work perfectly and charges quickly outdoors without having to bring camera in. More expensive than some aftermarket ones but more confident in being the right one.

Works!
Bought for an Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera. After doing some research, decided on going with an Arlo magnetic charging chord. I could not be happier! Works great, the amount of length is so nice to have, and now no worries about a drained battery. Also love that this chord came in black, as not all homes are white, I find that this colour blends in with the home much better.

Works perfectly with the pro three floodlight, allowing for charging and live viewing at the same time which are normal charge cable will not allow. Excellent quality.
