Consolidated PBY Catalina diecast 1:144 model (Amercom LB-11)

Despite being from a company called "American Hobby" the parcel arrived from Poland, of all places. Apparently I missed the signature as well, and instead of it arriving in my P.O. Box I had to bring my notice to the mail clerk desk and sign for it there, which is rare.That aside, the product isn't that well constructed. The landing gear was not fully extended, prohibiting the plane from sitting level on all 3 wheels. Add to that the crooked wheels and no guns or ordnance at all, it really doesn't do a Justice for the poor Cat. It doesn't even fit the stand properly... My other order was a Lancaster and it turned out much better, so I have mixed feelings about this seller.

The model is larger than I expected and is an accurate reproduction of a PBY Catalina. My only surprise was that when I had to sign for it the Mail Person required a signature and remarked that the package was mailed from Poland. I looked at the return address on the box and it was in Polish.

I had high hopes for this desk-top pby. Shipping took a very long time but when I opened the box thats when I realized I had been completely ripped off! This plane does not look at all like the photo! Its construction and paint looks like a 1st grader put it together and painted it with milkey white/blue colored water! I cannot stress enough how disgusted with Amazon for allowing a seller to sell this type of product. I WILL NOT be buying from this seller ever again!
