This has to be the strongest flavored olive oil i have ever tasted. I would consider it to be a pure form of olive oil with a natural peppery kick that really packs a punch in terms of power and flavor. It has a delicious bitterness to it, Which counteracts the sweetness of any balsamic dressing nicely. With quite strong peppery notes, This would be ideal to add personality to any salad, Giving it a bit of extra oomph.It comes in a 3 Litre container with a large black screw top lid for heavy pours, And a small red pop out lid to pour directly, This however is tricky to master, As the oil tends to have a mind of its own as you pour it. I experienced a few spills before it ended up in my salad bowl. This was fixed by emptying some of the oil to another canister to balance out the weight.I must say, That i feel like i have never tasted real extra virgin olive oil until this point, Who would have guessed it has such developed complex flavors? I would definitely recommend trying this with some cold deli cuts, Salads, Or even staring it on its own with some rustic bread. Delicious!

I am feeling pleased to write this review as after a long time I found the good Spanish olive oil for the daily use in this price.Traditionally we use olive oil for cooking, salad dressings and more importantly to use it in making herbal remedies/medicine.Impressed with its packaging, fragrance, clear texture and fruity taste. Free recipe book was a wonderful treat, had few fantastic ideas from it.I will definitely buy this again and Recommend this to try it once.

I'm a regular olive oil consumer, and tried olive oil from many countries. The harvest year makes all the difference in all olive oils mainly. This one is one of the best I had, not too peppery, still with good fragrance and robust. Highly recommended.

Olive oil come in many different varieties and tastes. Although the quality of this product is very good the bitter taste does not appeal to my palate. I was under the impression that this olive oil was fruity based on previous reviews, but it is not fruity at all. Rather it has a mild bitter taste which many people like. Based on the fact that the quality of the oil is excellent but the taste not fruity but mildly bitter I can only give it a 3 star rating.

I read the reviews before selecting a can of olive oil, as it's a bit of an investment in some ways; so I was hopeful for this oil, but I have found the product disappointing all round.Firstly, the can was slightly dented - a company like Amazon should find a better way to pack than using loosely stuffing goods with paper roll. Secondly, as other reviewers have found, no sign of the promised recipe book. However I could have overlooked all of this if the oil itself had proved to be delicious, as I was expecting.I have eaten good olive oil in all of the major producing European countries such as Spain and Italy, as well as at the homes of European friends. This one, in my view, lacks any flavour or depth. It is slightly peppery, and in fact tastes to me more like a light, peppery sunflower oil than an extra virgin olive oil. Will not be repeating the purchase, sorry Dehesa - one or two of the supermarkets are doing tastier own brand, single origin oils for less money this, even by the bottle.

Traditionally we have using veg. Oil for cooking but since I have got Dahesa olive oil, we are enjoying our foods with more taste and natural nutrition. It’s very good with baking as well. It also helps in easy absorption and digestion of foods. We are happy to change our oil to this pure and natural olive oil after decades of veg oil use.

Arrived quickly. Safe neat packaging. Tin is not damaged, no signs of wear . Quality is nice , tastes like real oil from Spain and Greece. Perfect for daily use and skin care .
