It is comprised of two tripod stands and four 3' cross bar sections and includes a heavy duty carry bag. The four cross bar sections allow for the stand to be set up in 6', 9' or full 12' widths. The cross bar interconnects are 6", the longest on the market, providing ample support for heavier backdrops. The tripod stands use air cushioned shocks, instead of spring shocks, allowing the fully extended stands to smoothly and safely collapse to their minimum height. The material on the stand bag is very heavy duty 1680D weight ballistic nylon and the zipper is 8mm white copper metal.The stand also features large ergonomic tension screws, elastic straps that group the cross bar sections in the bag, and end caps for the crossbar to prevent damage to the backdrops. Prism Backdrops The backdrops are made by Prism, and are professional muslin backdrops made from a heavier 100% cotton material. Special dyes are used to obtain well saturated colors, which appear vibrant and not washed out. All sides are stitched to avoid unraveling and a 3.4" rod pocket is sewn into the top. Each muslin is folded in a plastic bag to avoid moisture and stainage, which is then packed in a cardboard box for shipping.

Correct item delivered at second attempt.
The metal stands are quite substantial affairs, though contrary to the description there seemed to be no air damping of the height adjustable columns (the tubes drop like stones when you undo the holding nuts) and the wing-nuts that secure the crossbar are rather twee. However, as the stands were delivered without the two cotton muslin backdrops this item collectively is only worthy of one star and that given begrudgingly.It's going back to Amazon.Update: I rather suspect that I had been sent a bigger backdrop support than I asked for, which may explain why there were no cotton muslin backdrops with it. The stands I received each had four sections and there were five sections on the crossbar whereas the photos show three section stands and four section crossbar for this product. I think that I got the (discontinued?) 13' by 15' stand.Update 2:Amazon managed to deliver the correct item at the second time of ordering, and as it's all present and correct I have to admit that I'm very pleased with it so am now happy to revise my initial rating upwards from one star to five stars.The uprights and crossbar are quite substantial pieces of metalwork, and carry the weight of the backdrops with ease. The uprights are effectively air-damped in this version of the stand. The backdrops themselves are good quality material, but ironing them is certainly going to be a bit of a chore! Even the two spring clips included in the box are solid affairs, and I may have to get some more of those. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone else who wants to purchase a background support system - just make sure that Amazon get your order right!Excellent after-sales service from the US based seller, who have informed me that the stand now has a lifetime guarantee.
