Best White Christmas at 4K UHD
4K UHD: I was amazed by the picture quality in 4K UHD; it was extraordinary. Some scenes were so vivid that they seemed three-dimensional. This was the best 4K UHD transfer of the movies I have bought."White Christmas" is one of my favorite holiday films. Perhaps this is because I had a military career and spent time in a war zone during the holidays. Regardless, it is a good movie with an emotional core that revolves around former army men doing something nice for their former commander. The film's opening scenes, where the men watch Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye perform during combat, are heart-wrenching. Unless someone has been in that situation, it isn't easy to understand the profound impact of being away from home and family during such times. The strain on the men's faces is palpable, making one wonder if some of the extras were actual veterans who experienced this during World War II.This film is set ten years after the end of World War II and was made for those who lived through it. Many have compared it to the earlier film "Holiday Inn" due to their similar plots. However, "White Christmas" distinguishes itself by focusing on military veterans and their determination to support their former commander, Major General Waverly, who runs an inn in Vermont. Unfortunately, the inn struggles to attract guests because of unusually warm weather. To help, the veterans decide to put on a show there. The movie features various ups and downs related to the show's production, many musical numbers, and a romantic subplot involving Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney.Rosemary Clooney is an incredible talent, and many people do not know that she sang both parts in the famous “Sisters” number. Vera-Ellen, while a fantastic dancer, did not have a singing voice. Clooney and another singer dubbed her singing parts. However, Vera-Ellen showcased her exceptional dancing skills in two numbers: "Mandy" and "Choreography."Another interesting fact is that George Chakiris was one of the chorus boy dancers performing alongside Clooney and Ellen. He later gained fame as Bernardo in the 1961 film West Side Story, where he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Rita Moreno, who played Anita in the same movie, won Best Supporting Actress.I highly recommend watching White Christmas, which is often undervalued and overlooked as a holiday movie. It truly delivers on many levels.

A Good Movie at its Best
This is by far the best Clarity and Definition of this movie I have ever seen. I have had this movie on Video Tape, LaserDisc, DVD, Blu Ray and now 4K and as I mentioned this is definitely the best version including the 4k Digital Copy. For me it was worth the price to enjoy a very family friendly and happy movie anytime of the year.

If you like this movie Get This Ultra High Definition version Quick !!!
I've always loved the big movie musicals and this one is the Top of the List !!I watched earlier this week on YouTube a couple talking about this New U.H.D. version of this film and how they made it look and sound better than I even saw New releases !! The Digital copy is only for Apple and Fandango at Home applications but I already have Fandango and vudu and it was a little bit of trip to get Fandango at Home on Xfinity my Cable service .My equipment : Xifinty Cable /dvr set up , A couple years old 43" 4k Westinghouse Roku T.V. with a Sound optical hooked up Sound Bar . Results pure video and audio Bliss .

4k remaster is the definitive version
Have watched this movie at Christmas every year, the version they have streaming on prime rn looks so bad so I had to buy my family the uhd version and let me tell you, they upscaled this movie masterfully. It’s from the original vistavision negatives and it looks better than ever, we were noticing little details we’ve never seen before and the colors pop more than ever. If you like this movie, do not hesitate, just get the uhd 4k version. The download code lets you activate it on Apple TV or fandango app.

Cleaner, brighter, more colorful, and more magical than ever!
A nicely executed 4k uhd. The image is cleamer, cleaner, brighter and more magical than ever.Not a big fan of the stars, except Dean Jagger and Mary Wickes, but I've always loved the movie. It just seems like Christmas.

This movie is a guilty pleasure. it has numerous culturally dated and preposterous premises, but it is a Christmas classic, and this is the best it has ever looked or sounded.If you can overlook the misplaced sympathies and pandering, it is a very enjoyable musical.
