In the past, when I needed to keep my hand or fingers dry when showering I would put around a plastic bag and tape it, but it never kept my hand dry but this device worked perfectly. I highly recommend it and it is easy to get on. You can still use your hand and easy to get off while the hand remains dry.

We needed to protect the bandages on a finger surgery from getting wet when showering. Trying to cover with 2 produce bags and a rubberband was not safe. This cast cover is made of heavy plastic and keeps the water out. You do need to measure your wrist to make sure it is within the parameters of the size of the glove, which is stated in the ad. You do need another person to stretch and hold the opening wide to insert the hand and smooth out the edges for a good seal, and then help to remove it. It would be difficult to try to do this solo. But this does the job with confidence.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked in keeping my sutures and bandages dry. It does fit a little snug (as expected to keep water out) my wrists are small so may be uncomfortable for a larger framed person.You will need assistance from someone to help put it on and remove. It’s difficult to stretch the opening wide enough alone to get your hand insideOverall, very happy with this product!

Having had hand ad wrist surgery, I needed something to cover the surgical area, This worked perfectly, The ring around the top of the sleeve was a bit off putting and had to be dealt with while showering. However it did offer an easy way to take the sleeve on and off. My one suggestion is to dry the top seal so you don't get the bandage of cast wet.
