Conair 1875 Watt Compact Dual Voltage Travel Hair Dryer with Folding Handle, Grey

We have purchased several of these hairdryers and we love them. They are compact, durable and last a long time. We are overseas travelers and find them the perfect size for the suitcase. They are small, but not too small or too heavy for everyday use. (I don't like a heavy hairdryer). They can be easily switched between 110/220v by using a coin (just don't forget!) and they are powerful enough to dry my long hair in a just a few minutes without over heating. (I will say that my hair is long, but not extremely thick.) The handle folds down, which is nice for travel. In 220 mode they can only be used on LOW, however, this is still powerful enough for me. I also like the COOL button. Our family currently owns three of these. I use them for both my regular everyday hair dryer and our travel hair dryers. I first bought one in 2007 and it lasted about 6 or 7 years. I've been very happy with them.

Stick of standing in line at the gym waiting to use that ONE dryer they have? Need something small enough for travel but MUST have a cold shot? You still want powerful right? This is second to the tiniestkind out here, it's not the smallest/it's the second smallest but it had everything that I wanted in a hair dryer for the gym/travel. Only thing is the LOW setting is when you push the slider UP and the HIGH setting is when you push the slider DOWN (with your thumb there are no buttons to press on it). Just so you know. At first, I pushed it up and it wasn't very HOT, so I tried the other way and WOW yep, this is a powerful hot small portable dryer. I'm very pleased with it AND if folds!

Conair has a pretty powerful little blow dryer here. Suprised that it had this much heat and force. Prior travel dryers I have had were much weaker. It is also real light weight. Compact when its folded, too. Great for traveling where the presence of a blow dryer (or your own blow dryer) is in doubt!

I have tried 5 different blow dryers and so far this is my favorite. I have thick, wavy long hair and this dries it quickly. I had another dryer before this that put out a lot of air but not enough heat, it tangled my hair too much even on low speed and still didn't get it dry. I love the compact and light size too.

It will have a true travel test later in the summer. I have no doubt that it will perform perfectly, will not cook my hair, and will be light enough that it will not be a burden to carry.Besides folding to reduce the size, having 2 speeds, and light weight for traveling, it also will adapt to 240 watts with the flip of a switch.

This dryer is compact, good for travel and works well. Does the job.

I ordered this product to take on a trip to Italy. I was originally looking for a 2000 watt blow dryer because I was trying to kill two birds with one stone and purchase a new everyday blow dryer with more watts than mine now and have it easy to travel with. I had to settle for 1875 - which is what my at home blow dryer is now because the price was pretty good. I tested it out at home, to make sure I wanted to take it to Italy and it was amazing! It has A LOT of power for such a small blow dryer AND it folds up. It has a high and low speed as well as a "cool shot" button. It's light weight and will be perfect for traveling. With a bonus of dual voltage! I have not yet tried it in another country but I will update when I do! Very impressed and satisfied with this purchase. Power good. Little loud. Not as compact as expected for travel. A bit chunky.
