Kichler Hendrik 7.5" 1 Light Mini Pendant with Light Umber Etched Glass Olde Bronze®

I ordered and received two of these lights and, while I have no issues with the quality of the lights themselves, the advertised size is misleading.The manufacturer lists the lights being 5.5 in x 7.5 inches. That measurement is as follows: from the bottom of the glass globe to about an inch or so up the vertical, metal stem (where the first set of threads are) is 7.5 inches. The 5.5 inch measurement is across the top of the metal cap and is actually 5 inches. The glass globe itself measures only 4 inches x 6 inches The main problem with having a globe this small is that it is very difficult to find a CFL bulb that doesn't protrude from the light. You'll need to have bulb that is about 4 inches long to avoid this issue.

We spent many, many days looking for the right lighting for our new home and ran across these at a local store. After some research we decided to take the plunge and bought several Kichler matching pieces for the kitchen, dining, entry, hall, baths, etc.... not cheap, but super nice and super high quality. The builder's electrician said it was all top quality and he enjoyed installing these verses some of the cheap stuff out there. Everything from Kichler came as promised and we have no issues with any of the pieces purchased. I would recommend these if you want high quality lighting and I would buy them again, if I had to do it all over.

We bought two of these lights for our kitchen. They are very attractive, but in the course of a couple of years we experienced electrical arcing in one of the light sockets which turned it black and killed the light. We called Kichler to see if we could order a replacement socket, but they won't just replace the socket, they say you have to replace the entire lamp. An expensive solution, but we went ahead and ordered a light to replace the faulty one. Then, the second light we had originally purchased began arcing just like the first one, and it, too, died. So rather than buy yet another light, we switched to a different light and manufacturer. A pity, because Kichler has a reputation for being a good lighting company, but these lights kept failing, and their solution was to buy another light. Not cool.

Perfect light for my hallway, with some minor modifications. The light has a swivel link at the base mount end of the down rod. I was able to remove the swivel and mount the down rod directly to the base, which raised the light up to a perfect height for the low ceiling. I will soon have all matching fixtures throughout my small house. While these are a bit costly, they really are very nice looking, and are of good quality. I used sparkle effect LED bulbs with this and my matching bathroom fixtures for a nice warm light.

Really like the style of these pendants. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that I am trying to get used to the color of the glass. When not lit, they are sort of dark (not pure s***e) in color.

A lighting choice is a personal decision, it all depends on what style you're going for and the look that you're trying to create. My kitchen remodel is transitional/modern. The pendants fit nicely, complimenting the clean lines of our cabinets and countertops. Also works very well with our stainless steel appliances. We also bought the 3 light chandelier (over kitchen table) and 2 light wall mount for adjoining powder room to have a matching set. Fit, finish excellent and the installation was simple.

Love these! The design is just what I wanted. They add so much to the room. Only problem was one box missing an important part. Contacted the seller and he took care of the problem immediately. Felt bad as they had to send a complete light....but the fact that they did without hesitation was greatly appreciated. Would buy from them again!

Hung this in the center of my bathroom using just the 6" rod, making it 7' above the floor. Nicely has the effect of lowering the ceiling and making the room more intimate than the previous flush ceiling fixture. Have the same fixture but with slanted shade over my kitchen table. Log them both!
