I don't usually provide product feedback, but feel this product is worthy of a comment. I have tried many ways to prop open my patio doors with little success. this product is just what I needed, it held fast and kept the doors open throughout the very high winds (40 mph) we had recently, I would highly recommend it to anyone with a similar problem. I tried the cheaper ones but they didn't work because they didn't have the locking mechanism

This is easy to install and as our garage door is a heavy fire door I wasn’t sure whether this door stop would work but it does. No matter how wide or narrow I want the door to be kept open the stopper holds it perfectly. I highly recommend.

Purchased this to keep open the external UPVC entrance door into our utility room which is built into the back end of our garage. Due to its design the foot grips firm when the wind blows in one direction - but when the wind blows in the other direction it has no means of restricting the foot from moving. Very well made and probably very good for internal use but not so good for outside doors.

Easy to fit, just make sure you fit them to cope with the door when it's open and not in the closed position. Robust construction and work well, so far! The backing card in the package can be used as a fitting template, so don't discard until you've done the job.

far better than ones that have been returned. push garage door open and kick down foot bang, door stops against the chain and this foot holds it there, rock solid against any breeze. press door slighly and foot on lever, foot springs up bang, door free to swing close and lock.

Easy to install in 5 min with the included template and screws. It’s convenient to have adjustable stop which can be extended to reach the floor.

Works fine and is very comfortable. Easy to assemble but needs a drill first for screws.There is a cheaper version without "semi-automatic" feature BUT this version is much better.

I honestly wasn't sure how good this product would be. Reviews were okay, but you can never really tell with these types of things.But it's been really good! The materials and build quality were better than I was expecting. And even the packaging and instructions surprised me in a good way.Installation was easy. At first the stopper was sliding a bit when it was down (on tile), so the door wouldn't stop exactly where I wanted it. But I think that was just due to the rubber not being tacky enough out of the box. After a day or two and the stopper being applied a few times it's worked consistently great, and stops exactly where I apply it.The spring mechanism is reliable and sturdy.

We have a cat who would occasionally lock himself out of the room his litter box is in. This remedied the problem. Now, when we leave, we engage the doorstop and it hasn't been a problem. Sticks very well. We have been gentle with it to ensure it lasts. Instead of using the lever on top we usually just move the stop on its own if that makes sense. It's been installed for months and shows no sign of coming loose. (We did the sticky option)

came with good screws for mounting, nice finish, easy to mount. I am using it on a door to my garage and it gets caught by the wind and slammed. This fixed the problem. It can handle a stiff breeze and holds the door open.

Our bathroom door tends to swing out too easily, but living in small quarters, and the cat's litter box is in the same room, requires a door open just enough for them to squeeze in but enough to look as it is closed...given to the fact as well that at night time I just don't feel like wrestling with a door stopper, the little lever that unhinges is brilliantly designed. Afterwards, easy to put down the break so it doesn't open again (Suggestion: we actually put ours inside the door so it wouldn't detract from the outside door)...love it!!!!
