I had rotator cuff surgery 20 years ago. A new tear appeared and started disturbing my sleep. I absolutely was not doing surgery again. After MRI my orthopedist suggested a posture shirt LIKE THE ONE HE WAS WEARING! Anyway, I came to Amazon to get it and discovered far better reviews for the Tommy Copper than the brand he suggested. The TC shirt was far less expensive as well. I 'bought' the shirt using the "Try before you buy" option (given how many have fitting issues with this sort of product). Well, I have been wearing it since yesterday, slept in it, and it is just fantastic.Definitely pulls the shoulders back into alignment. You can fight it, but it will prevail and the result is nothing short of spectacular.The shirt fits very, very tight. It has to. I read horror stories of people not being able to get it on/off. I had no issues, goes on and pulls off like a T-shirt. Frankly I wish all my T-shirt sleeves fit like this one--really shows off the guns.

I have had five rotator cuff repair surgeries, they will never be 100% and this shirt provides some much needed support. The shirt does not keep me pain free but the pain is less intense and has a shorter duration. There are a few things that I do not like about the shirt, not really problems with the shirt, more problems using a posture shirt. I have to wear this under my uniform and it gets really warm. The shirt fits very snugly and once it is wet with sweat it is extra hard to remove. The shirt is made long and needs to be pulled down over your butt to provide the tension in the fabric to support your shoulders. Moving around a lot causes the shirt to ride up so be prepared to find a private place to loosen your pants and pull this thing down again. The shirts are not cheap so I wash it out in the sink every night which is not hard to do, it is hard to get it dry without using a dryer but a little sun and wind and it is fine.

I have slouching shoulders that have caused muscle and neck pain. These shirts have helped me to get better support causing less slouching and pain.

Comfortable stabilization for shoulder!

This is the best shoulder / posture shirt I've tried - and I've tried many. It compresses mostly around the shoulders and does a great job of pulling them back. I REALLY wished these shirts had worked for me.But there were deal breakers... the one that will apply to most people here is that the collar is so strangely sized, and almost bacony or wavy...like imagine worn out boxer elastic....that they do not fit under any shirt - t shirt or button up. Even if you button up your collar to the top, like a weirdo, it will wrinkle oddly underneath. I returned a shirt and bought another one thinking I got a bad shirt - but it was the same on both.This may only apply to those above six foot - but I'm 6'3 and these are also far too short. I was constantly pulling the shirt down. This was the case for all the posture shirts I tried, and honestly this shirt was longer than most of them - but still probably better for folks under six foot.

I will start by saying that I am skeptical of items that advertise heavily on late night TV...I broke my #1 and #2 ribs on the backside about 10 months ago along with a T and a C vertebrae.I had fusion(s) done on the vertebrae and have recovered in a very satisfactory manner although there is residual, chronic minor pain from the ribs...After seeing the ads on TV for many months my wife convinced me to purchase a shirt, needless to say I did not expect the results that came with the shirt. I figured that it would be hot, ride up, and overall uncomfortable.NONE OF THE ABOVE happened, it is a great fit, helps relieve pain, gives great shoulder support on the back side and helps improve posture too!I am a very active senior---I wore it while running a (professional size) chainsaw cutting firewood, and while pruning my fruit trees this past weekend.It is also very good while working at a computer and leaning over a desk..I have ordered 3 more of them.Highly recommended!

I am typically a medium size shirt, but this was way smaller than expected. I didn't try it on within 30 days and I have been unable to return it so far. Mediums are never this small on me so it was unexpected.

I bought Tommie Copper t-shirt many years ago and it was really good. I bout one for my wife as well, then I got their knee and elbow braces. It was maybe 6-7 years ago maybe more, Tommie Copper was just starting at that time. Couple of weeks ago I got this T-shirt and what a surprise. This is something I have never seen before. I am a trainer and I did 3x4 hours training sessions in a span of 3 days with my students and felt like new. I had surgeries on my both shoulders and my shoulders getting tired pretty quick I am 60 years old. This shirt is a game changer, I felt fresh, strong and energized. It is pretty thick material and for a t-shirt it feels heavy, but when you put it on, you feel like a wearing a extra layer of muscles, and your ligaments feel tight and strong. After 4 hours of intense workout with kettlebells the shirt does not smell at all. I have no idea what kind of technology they use but it works and the quality is more than impressive. Gonna get myself a long sleeves as well. Great product, high level quality, wish I bought it earlier.

This is like medical device really. I thought the reviews were an exaggeration - but no. Its tight but that's how it works. Helps my bad shoulder stay up and in place. I wear it under another shirt until I lose some weight. I look like a salami in a pepperoni sausage casing until then! :-)
