This Scale work's very nicely... I am using this scale to weigh baby bird's. I tested it against another scale I had, and both come up with the same answer. But It wont weigh anything under 3grams …. It's thin, so my birds could not hurt themselves if they fell off of it. It's nice looking, and pretty well made. I love the fact that I can put a bowl on it, and push the Tare button and it goes to zero, allowing me to put my bird in the bowl and then getting the weight of my baby bird. Great little scale... perfect for what I need it for.

I had an analog scale that I used for many years, now wish I had gone digital decades ago! This is an easy little scale, can stick up in cupboard when not in use and takes up no space. Put your own bowl on the scale, press the button again and it 'zeros' out so you can add ingredients one at a time, doing it again and again, you never have to "do math"!

I bought this to replace an old larger kitchen scale that stopped working one day. I bought this because of the favorable reviews and the more compact size. I usually put a bowl on the scale before turning it on so that it will register 0 before adding ingredients. When I realized that taking the bowl off after registering 0 gave me a negative number which was the opposite of the weight of the bowl, I was actually excited! This tare feature is something I did not have on my old scale, and I can think of many uses for it. So far, I'm very happy with this scale. I couldn't find a scale that had will the other features of my old scale, so that's why I rated this a 4. It's a 5 if you're happy with the various units and tare function.

Better than I had hoped for. I use the same container and the scale remembers. Don't have to reset tare each time. Weighing out powdered milk for baby goats. This scale makes it fast and easy. Just put container on scale and keep adding powder till the needed weight.

Worked well and large enough surface to fit the bowls and small plates that I use. Tare function work well and easy to read digital display. Work as it should! Haven't had long enough to determine battery life but it turns it self off shortly after use.

This is a great scale. You can use put bowls or plates on top first and then weigh ingredients. I just got into baking and love how easy this scale makes it to follow European recipes. It is durable and easily cleans with household cleaners.

The controls are FAR too sensitive: just wiping moisture from them with the lightest touch of a towel will cause them to reset (they are pressure sensitive, not touch sensitive). On the other hand, its sensitivity for anything below about 5 grams is questionable: it doesn't seem to respond correctly to anything below that threshold.It also turns itself off far too quickly: if you suddenly have to turn to do something else, it's likely that it will have timed out when you turn back to it, and you will have to start over.

Needed a scale for my brewing and this fit the bill. I was confused on calibrating but it is self calibrated another plus, easy to clean and had all the right measurements!
