Dog can Break Free
I had no problems with this leash at first, but after less than 4 months of use, my 17 pound Pom/Spitz mix managed to snap the clip off the o-ring and got loose. The spring-loaded base of the clip can apparently be twisted and snapped off if the dog flips around at just the right angle when pulling quickly. Luckily, she wasn't hit by a car when she took off running and broke free but I don't trust these clips anymore. The vet has since recommended to use a leash with a screwed in place carabiner. Apparently this sort of thing isn't all that rare.

Great leash and won't go without it!
Nice spring in the bungee cord part of the leash. Nice heavy duty clips to attach to the dog and my waistband on my backpack. I didn't use the waist strap that was included, but its nice if you aren't using a backpack. Anyone who hike, runs or walks their dog needs one of these!
