Fender Engager Boost Pedal

I Love this Fender Boost Engager Pedal! Gives a great full boost in your effects chain. Love the Mid knob and Freq switch. Very versatile. Gives a full range of tweaking ability. Best Boost pedal I've owned! Sturdy, well-built chasis. Solidly built. Excellent job Fender!

Bought this for a boost for my Maton 808. Does just what I wanted it to do, works great. Did not give 5 stars only because the light is much brighter than it needs to be. I would recommend this item.

Awesome build quality with a pretty good sound. I've been looking for a boost for a while listened to some videos on this and tried it out and I'm impressed. The price for the quality of the pedal is excellent

This is a well made pedal and it gave my guitar tone a much needed boost. I love that I can shape my guitar tone before it hits the amp it really gives you good tone shaping options. This is now my favorite pedal.

Just received this pedal and tested it out.Love the sound and the design -except for one thing which I’ll get to in a minute.It is very transparent sounding. You can adjust boost level and adjust the EQ with a switchable mid-range. Very very happy with the sound and the features that this pedal provides. Really dig the textured metal top. I also love the streamlined design of the battery compartment. Oh! It’s wonderful that you can switch and have the knobs light up. It’s a perfect pedal except for one glaring issue: The on/off switch is so loud! The truth is that so many guitar pedals have this same problem. And I’m just amazed that guitar pedal companies don’t use more silent switches for their pedals! I suppose if you’re playing in a loud band this is not an issue. But what if you were playing in a duo at a café, or in a smaller band in a listening room? You are playing music right? and you’re going to have a loud “click!” in the middle of your song to use your pedal?! I am left trying to figure out if this switch can be replaced somehow with a silent switch.It seems like it would be so easy for Fender and other companies to simply build their pedals with silent switches! It’s a perfect pedal, but has this one drawback which needs to be addressed / modified. Ugh! So frustrating!

Versatile monster for both single and humbucker pups. The toggle switch for mid freq is really useful. Xotic pedals put some colours but engager boost kis truly clean boost. Worth it.

Took the place of my old boss eq pedal. Nice warm sound. Good for a solo boost or to drive your amp a bit.

Put it in front of an amp to boost the preamp and get more gain. Put it in the FX loop for a volume kick. It does the two things I wanted it to, and in a very study enclosure. The magnetic battery box is nice but of course with the bright LEDs (switchable off but nice to have on) I found it easier to use a power supply (not included).

Now that’s a booster pedal, great sound , easy to dial in what you want, super sturdy and good looking too!

Mai avuto un boost prima, fa il suono grosso e succoso. Dove non arriva l'ampli ci arriva lui, secondo me uno dei pedali fondamentali insieme al riverbero e all'overdrive. Ottimo lo scomparto per la pila, apri-chiudi facile e veloce. Le possibilità di regolazione sono diverse, ti porta a un bel crunch se regolato al massimo e può sostituire un overdrive se non avete necessità di una distorsione consistente. Il pulsante è un po' duretto, ma credo che sia una caratteristica dei pedali Fender (il reverb in mio possesso è uguale da questo punto di vista), ma niente di che per l'uso che ne faccio. Non so se sia il miglior boost in commercio ma lavora bene e costa il giusto. Esteticamente è anche bello.

Good clean boost with much needed eq for those low headroom amps.

I'm always looking for a good clean boost pedal. I also have a ZVEX SHO, and a modded Boss GE-7, and they all do different things. This is a good, beefy EQ pedal. I tried it in front of my Fender, at the end of my gain stage, and it did a nice job trimming some unwanted bass. I also tried it in front of my marshall as a treble boost (with the bass down pretty low and the treble boosted a bit) and it's not the same as a rangemaster or anything like that, but definitely helped my high-gain tone cut through.
