Comfortable and tough
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a comfortable, good looking work shoe with crush proof toe and shank (sole) protection from penetration. The tread is non-slip and non-marring and does not trap chunks of dirt/mud in the cleat to be tracked indoors. Material is suede with plastic toe and shank within along with rubber sole. They appear marketed to the construction industry, I work as a mechanic/welder but I expect they're well received in both, though not suitable for muddy site work as these are shoes not boots.I own an automotive repair shop that does all of the typical things you expect a shop to do, handle fluids, oils, chemicals, etc. We also do a lot of welding and fabrication. As the owner I'm here on a slab of concrete usually 12-16 hours a day, most days of the week. Long hours standing on concrete. I'm 5'8, normal build but I have back problems and wide feet thus shoes that fit well, are comfortable and durable enough to last are hard to find. These fit the bill perfectly. Oil spills are slippery no matter what, but these give a large contact patch with the tread design and clean quickly so you're not tracking oil or continuing to slip. No problems with tracking oil or dirt into the office from the shop. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they've held up to kicking tires or heavy steel to move them into position, no separation of tread/shoe at the toe and the toe is solid but not uncomfortable or heavy like other steel toes I've had. They hold up well to welding spatter, I thought with the nice suede appearance they'd quickly be destroyed but no problems yet. They are not waterproof so if you work in the rain your feet will get wet, they do dry normally in about a day and are ready to go again. We're in the busy season and I liked them so much I wanted to make sure I had another pair so I ordered one and the package arrived soaked and the shoes were moldy and damaged. (these are shipped China post) I took pictures and contacted the seller. Their response was very polite and they quickly shipped a replacement at no cost. Excellent product and excellent customer service.I would recommend the shoe to anyone looking for a durable and comfortable work shoe, you won't find a better product or vendor to buy from.I have purchased these work shoes before. Both times delivery was within expected delivery time which was a couple weeks. Price was similar to like items available here. Quality is excellent and after owning them for several months I can say they are very durable. These shoes are also very comfortable

so good. I've had them for a couple weeks now
So far, so good. I've had them for a couple weeks now, and they're by far the most lightweight and comfortable steel-toes I've worn. The non-slip soles are performing quite well; important for me with all the petroleum products I work around. Time will tell when it comes to durability and longevity. Be advised: the manufacturer is in China, with apparently no distribution center in the States. Mine took about 10 days to arrive.

Greatly disappointed.
The images showed (fourth image I think) the shoe to have a more rounded toe area which I needed as my feet are more accustomed to a wide shoe and not narrow. The shoes that I only got to wear to work once were far too narrow and I actually stubbed my toe on the ToeCap protector. I would have returned them but Amazon's return policy says they can't be used.

Good shoe with minor flaw
I never wear these for more than a couple hours for moderate to heavy work around my property, so a Pro would be a better test of the shoe. But I just want to comment on two things:I wear a 10-1/2 normal width, normally, in just about any shoe I buy. I ordered these in 11 Wide thinking I would probably want to wear heavier socks in colder weather. They fit great with an athletic sock; not too big and not too wide which is not what I expected. So if you have wide feet, be advised.A small item, but I really wish the loops on the heal were bigger. I'm a normal build, 6'1" and 220 and spend too much time trying to get a finger in the loop (which I find very useful for pulling them on). So, I can't see why they couldn't have erred on them being a bit too big, instead of too small and one star off for that.Other than that, I find them very comfortable.

I ordered 11 since there were no half sizes and they fit perfect!. Very comfortable and lightweight
I wear size 10-10.5 depending on the shoe manufacturer, when I considered ordering these shoes size 10 was a risk since I usually wear 10.5 in steel toed shoes. I ordered 11 since there were no half sizes and they fit perfect!. Very comfortable and lightweight.I'll give them another week and if they hold this good fit, I'll order another pair.

Well constructed Steel Toed Shoe
I received these shoes last week and spent a few days breaking them in before I wore them to work. First, the good: They are well constructed, comfortable, and nice looking shoe. The not so good: these shoes are a bit on the pricey side. I do not mind paying a bit more for a quality product. I ordered EE because I have a wide foot. While the shoe fits comfortably and seems sized right, after a few hours, I get very sore pinky toes (both sides). I tried to remedy by wearing a thinner sock but had to switch back to my workboots by mid-afternoon because the pain became unbearable. I fault my feet more than the shoe, guessing my feet spread out and swell as the day goes on.

Sizing guide led to a too small size.
Using the provided sizing guide, the recommended size was one size smaller than I normally wear. That was a mistake, the protective toe cap is very obviously lightly covered internally. I can feel the edges of the cap pressing against the sides of my feet(toes). Distracting at best and uncomfortable to say the least. I do like the appearance and styling. I ordered another pair of the size I normally wear, I'll take the 'too small' pair and give them to my grandson, the shoes should fit him without issue. The size ordered is described as x-wide, I'd argue that point as they fit pretty snug. Don't get me wrong I think the shoes are well worth the cost. I just need to find the correct size within the product line.

Excellent product
Wow! A step up from previous shoes I've bought on the net - proper orthotic shoes that don't cost the earth or make me look disfigured. A trainer that has orthotic arch supports, shoes that have overnight transformed the way I walk to something much more to my liking. I shall be back; the only downside is that the free socks don't fit a size 12 foot - given that the shoes were size 12, go figure.

Best pair of safety shoes I've had in years!
Very comfortable (especially with alternative insoles provided) for hard concrete factory floor. Sizing is spot on - I did use measurement guide very carefully. Was surprised a size 40 for a UK 6 as usually a size 39 - but if you stick to the measurements on the manufacturers guide it will be correct. For someone with wide feet these are brilliant. Place where I work has ordered me 3 pairs of shoes - one I can't get on, one rubs my toes raw and the 3rd pair gives me knee pain. These shoes do none of these and keep your foot in the correct alignment for knees and back. I will be back for more when these wear out!

Not comfortable
I have blisters on both heels after wearing these to work for an hour. I'm a hospital porter and usually wear trainers because I do a lot of walking. I occasionally drive beds over my feet, which hurts when there's a patient in them, so I'm always low-key interested in toe protection. I've tried steel-toe cap boots but they're not lightweight enough for the walking I do, so I was interested in these safety shoes becasuse I thought they might be a good balance of comfort and protection.Unfortunately these seem to have lumps of stitched leather right behind the heel. I could feel the lumps as soon as I put them on. The heel of a shoe should be concave to fit the contours of the heel of the foot, but the heel of these shoes is convex and constantly pushes into the heel. Being leather I thought perhaps they would soften with wear, and they might still, but I can't tolerate them for any amount of time to wear them in. I feel like someone is trolling me when I put them on.These shoes feel sturdy, appear well made and are otherwise comfortable, so it's a shame they have this flaw. The heel lump of one shoe is more pronounced than the other, so I suspect it's simply a QA issue.

Disappointed - had to return
The main reason I decided to buy these shoes was because of the electrostatic discharge properties. I work in an electronics factory and we have to test our shoes three times a day. Sadly these shoes failed each time so I returned them.As the shoes were faulty, I asked for a refund of the postage I paid to send them back. This was refused and I was told it was my decision to return them so I am responsible for the postage - hardly seems fair!
