Build quality and finish are great! Had to print some custom spacers for my Monoprice Select Mini V2, because the set screw on the OEM drive gear was stripped, but that has nothing to do with the product. Would have worked great without spacers with the provided drive gear! Easy install, great tolerance!

Installed, feeds great, no plastic wear. The drive sprocket did come loose once after printing a large object with tons of retractions; make sure it is tight. I might indent the spindle with a dremel where the other setscrew contacts it to ensure it never slips again, and use a mild threadlocker.

I have a cheap Chinese Ender knock-off. The extruder was mostly plastic and would skip a great deal (accompanied by a loud clicking noise). I was forced to crank up the flow rate to as much as 140% to keep from under-extruding. On a forum, someone recommended upgrading to an aluminum extruder.After installing the KINGPRINT upgraded extruder, those problems went away. No more skipping, and retraction works better now as well. I now keep flow rate at 100%.There are no instructions. I used the pictures on the Amazon listing to guide me. It took about fifteen minutes total to take the old one off and put the new one on. Had love or money been on the line, I probably could have done it more quickly.

The red coating is a little cheap compared to other brands but still gets the job done!

I upgraded to KINGPRINT Upgraded Replacement 3D Printer Part MK8 Extruder Aluminum Block Bowden Extruder 1.75MM Filament Reprap Extrusion for CR10/CR-10/CR-10S DIY on my BIQU Magician Delta 3D printer.It bolted on with ease. It think it will benefit me better because I was having issues with my original plastic extruder. An it easy to install on your own. It has a heavier tension spring than my original piece. The only downside I see is it didn't come with instructions on how to install it but I found them some pictures on Amazon. So I added them in my review to help anyone that may need them

No need to get any expensive metal extruders for your ender 3 or whatever Creality printer you got, this does the work. It's great quality and comes with everything that's necessary.

This product is made nicely looks great but falls a bit short because the pivot sleeve on the arm when tightened down prevents the arm from moving you must loosen the screw for the extruder to function properly and the function of the pivot sleeve is what the name intends a point for the arm to pivot on I would purchase one of the more pricey ones which isn't much more that this one. Seller responded quickly but in the end was no help all the seller was able to do is confirm what I found as an issue and the only resolve they has was to not tighten the screw which is not correct.UPDATE: seller is sending a new one will update after install.
