Classy.
Well made, solid and heavy. Beautiful, looks like an antique but without the antique price tag. Easy assembly.

Beautiful table that I highly recommend
This is a beautiful table at an outstanding price. I have dark furniture in my home. You’re never going to get exact matches of dark furniture pieces that are not sold as a set. But this never bothers me. Everything blends in the end. I was a little apprehensive about buying this at first because some ads listed it as resin. The legs and the side pieces may be resin but you cannot tell unless you would know it from ad. The table top itself appears to be wood veneers. Ads in photos do not the table justice. Having the different inlays inset in the top adds to its expensive look, and it has nicely tapered corners- not sharp. I am also pleased it has no bottom rack as 99% of coffee tables do these days. I cannot stand them as all they do is get dusty and stuff gets stacked down there. I prefer an open bottom leading to a clean look with just four legs and top. I wanted to know how best to polish the table as I don’t want to put glass over it. But wanted it to have a finish that was good enough to stand light use. After reaching out to several sellers, I was finally told to use a good non-silicone wood polish. I chose guardsman which has worked wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this table and would buy again. Plus I don’t see that it scratches easily. Mine is still perfectly flawless! But do not mind the dust if you see any in pic!

Great Coffee Table
Very well made, easy leg assembly and very solid. Absolutely no blemishes. If you're in the market for a traditional coffee table then look no further.

Quality ok but paint questionable underneath.
The table is really nice for the money. However I didn't like that the edges under table weren't stained the same as the top of the table. Paint was messy and not right. Other than that the table is sturdy and beautiful design

Very Impressive
My home is decorated with antiques and antique replicas, so finding furniture that fits in is challenging. The coffee table that I was replacing was very ornate, but after almost 30 years of use, it needed to be replaced. I've been looking for a new coffee table for almost three years with no luck. When I spotted this table, I got excited. The style was exactly what I was looking for and the price seemed too good to be true. All of the reviews were good, so I went for it.Right off the bat, I was impressed with the packaging. I was concerned that it might arrive damaged, but it was well protected and arrived in perfect condition.Assembly was next. I'm a woman in my mid 70's and got it together quickly and with no trouble. It is sturdy and sits level. The only thing I would change is the finish on the table top. I wish it was just a little bit glossier but that is more of a personal preference.Overall, it is a beautiful table at an excellent price. I would definitely recommend this coffee table.

Better than the pictures
For it's price and the fact that it is made in China, I'm very impressed with what I got.For flat-pack shipped furniture it is surprisingly easy to put together. This is not Ikea with 30-40 pieces. It is just the 4 legs and the table top (and a package of screws and washers). Took less than 5 minutes to assemble. No tools other than the enclosed allen wrench are required. It is solid, sturdy, and perfectly level...not any wobble to it.The other thing that surprised me is this is not particle board or pressed wood composite like most flat-pack shipped furniture. I'm not sure what type of wood it is, it's slightly harder and heavier than pine, but not as hard as maple or mahogany. Probably some Chinese wood....but it's actual real to goodness wood! It does have a veneer top though, but it seems thick enough, although I wouldn't risk it by getting it wet or subjecting it to drastic temperature changes (it could possibly bubble or warp)...so use coasters like a civilized human being for your hot tea and iced drinks! Don't be a barbarian! It's a darker, richer cherry color than the brown that is pictured. Yes, it is more brown than red, but it is a richer color than pictured. The parquet top, despite being a veneer, looks much nicer than the pictures, and you cannot tell that it is a veneer even when looking at the seams where the 4 parquet pieces intersect.Lastly, it came very well packaged which was especially good since it took one heck of a beating from UPS and had multiple deep puncture holes and tears in both the box and the styrofoam, but not a single ding, scratch, dent in the table itself.Cons: Stain and varathane finish are uneven in some places on the legs. Not enough to be noticeable unless you are inspecting it with scrutiny, so no stars off, but it's a reminder that it is mass produced and will not be perfect. Also, this product is made with chemicals that are known to be hazardous in the State of California, blah, blah, blah so don't lick the unfinished underside of the table or gnaw on the legs. (Again, no stars off for the patently obvious, but apparently some people have to be reminded.)I almost wanted to take a star off for the styrofoam mess. The coffee table will have a static charge to it when you slide it out of the styrofoam package and will have hundreds of styrofoam particles sticking to it. Several vacuumings later I'm still finding tiny styrofoam particles stuck to it! Grrr! Styrofoam will be the end of me yet!

Solid 5*
Yes I was a little nervous buying furniture from the internet, I've seen enough of the memes. Having said that this is a solid five star purchase. Heavy solid wood, beautiful details, no serious flaws, you wouldn't know if I bought this from (insert upscale furniture store) or Amazon, had I not told you. Definitely passes.

Scratches so easily
A light breeze will scratch this table. It’s very pretty but it scratches so easily. We don’t treat it rough but a month later it’s covered with little scratches.
