great flashlight
Compact, bright torch for home use. I puchased a set of rechargable lithium batteries to go with this so that I can get maximum life (much more than with the AAA batteries in the included carrier). There is a little sleeve included that goes around the lithium battery to make it fit in the same space. The beam focuses from narrow spot to diffuse, like most other flashlights in this category. It is also water resistant. I'd say this is a solid option for the money. I'm planning on getting three more.

Great Ranch Light, almost as good as...
Great light! I use this on the ranch when walking at night to watch for the critters that view me as a snack rather than a threat. It’s better than my $100+ light, almost as good as my $150+ light. Lights things up out to at least 400 yards. You can’t go wrong with this, especially for the price. Great value. Thank you

This is a great bright tac light with 5-modes and an unevenedge around the bulb.....to break a window or ice.Don't look straight on..its extremely bright. It can cast light far away or rotate edge to narrow range. The length extends about an inch.It was shipped fast!I did notice the box said "rechargeable batteries" included, but they are regular triple A. The PRODUCT Description Page does NOT say "rechargeable" batteries are included.I grab this light all the time..its great!

It also has the annoying lanyard over the top setup on the tail
One of a couple lights taken on a camping trip. So can't speak to long term quality. Light worked well. Zoom feature hopefully will loosen up with use. It's smooth but a little on the stiff side right now. Tail click only with no momentary. It also has the annoying lanyard over the top setup on the tail. That keeps it from being a tail stander. Also, don't care for going through strobe functions at the start of the cycle. No actual LED emitter details that I can find other than "cree". This will probably be a by the door flashlight which it should do well at. I don't see it being an EDC.

Much better that expected: top quality!
Responding to the great reviews and the price, I ordered this flashlight. Although I have yet to take it kayaking or camping, this device is of substantial design and quality - exceeding some of the more expensive ones! The light mode functions are top quality and, for some reason, I originally did not get that it has an SOS mode. It does, and this - along with its other features - moves it out in front of my other bring-along kayaking lights. Switch components are solid and should be long-lasting.I know that manufacturers and vendors sometimes initially undercharge for great products to quickly build volume and a positive reputation. I suspect this may be the case for this light. The light is hefty and seems strongly built; a little larger that many of those little tactical lights. I do wonder why this is not billed as a tactical light, because it sure seems to met the grade in terms of build, weight and design... looks too.I paid full price for this product and had no contact with the business until after delivery, when they thoughtfully emailed me to see if I was happy with the light and to tell me to let them know if there are any problems Wow!No negatives; much recommended.

Great beam of Light
Worked great. At first I freaked out that I had a blinking flashlight that didn't work right. Then I read the instructions and found that I had to press the button half way in order to cycle through the different settings. Brightest, medium, low, strobe, and finally SOS. This flashlight is well worth the money I paid. I had an 800 lumen Husky brand that disappeared, but this is half the size and less weight.

Bright, inexpensive, but heavy
Very bright. Good price. However, much heavier than I expected or desired. Also, somewhat difficult to switch from one "light mode"' to another as per the minimal instructions provided: "When the flashlight is on, Half Press (light touch) the switch until get you light mode you want." [sic] Obviously the manufacturer did not spend too much on an English language translator.

Weak light output
This flashlight is nowhere near 1000 lumen output. More along the lines of mabey 200 using the 3 AAA battery pack. Flashlight does work as should but huge letdown being so dim. I compared to a high end flashlight with 500 lumen output and you can't even see the beam from this light in it. Good for around the house in case of a power outage but that's about it.
