Great CD to add to your collection!
I've been a fan of Z since I started watching her in Shake it Up when I was a teen. I'm in my early twenties and I've found I enjoy her music. I love this album, it's got lots of "get up" and dance beats on it (Putcha Body Down) and slow songs on it (Cry for love, Scared). I love all the tracks but my favorite tracks so far are "Heaven lost an Angel", "Putcha Body Down" and "Only when you're close". I would definitely recommend this as a gift to a young girl - niece, sister, daughter etc or for your own collection. Try it, you will be surprised that you really like it!

Zendaya Debut Album
i first heard this album on Bing ( type in Zendaya full album to hear the whole thing) and being one who likes to keep track of the beats to the songs, this CD is awesome but, Zendaya also has a really, really good voice too. and her music video of the her hit single Replay is insanely good. the choreography is mind-boggling. i never get tired of watching it. i wanna learn how to do that dance too lol. i would definitely recommend this CD to any Zendaya fans out there or just anyone who wants to broaden their sphere of music choices. there isn't a single bad song on this whole album, i've listened to it a few times now, trust me , i know lol.

Zendaya
I had never heard of Zendaya Coleman until she appeared on Dancing With The Stars and then a few months later I heard her track REPLAY on you tube and was intrigued enough to buy the entire album. Her debut album is pretty terrific - mixing elements of pop/dance/r&b which suit her voice AND the lyrics are age appropriate but not so kiddie-like that I couldn't relate. The way that Zendaya's career is blossoming very much reminds me of Brandy because she has a wholesome image and is growing a career in acting & music. I love that her parents are involved in managing her career and that they're allowing her to be a child and haven't exploited her to sell an image. This album has great flow and features up tempo & mid-tempo tracks primarily. The tracks I really like are:REPLAY - catchy trackHEAVEN LOST AN ANGEL - nice hip hop/r&b vibe on this track on which Zendaya raps a littleCRY FOR LOVE - very sweet, sincere vocals on this mid-tempo trackSCARED - she is giving great ATTITUDE on this trackLOVE YOU FOREVER - another really sweet track about hopeful feelings a young girl has in a relationshipThe only song I really don't like is BOTTLE YOU UPI hope Zendaya gets opportunities to perform and get her music out there because it's a great collection of songs that she & her team of producers should be proud of.

Turns out I love this album
I heard two songs from this and bought it in hopes of the rest would be just as well or ok. Turns out I love this album! She has such variety and great instrumentals. I exercise to this album as well because the album is mostly upbeat making it easy to do my cardio to. I hope nothing but more continuous success for her (acting and musically).

FORMER SHAKE IT UP STAR ZENDAYA. PROVES..SHE's the real Deal
Zendaya (Zen-Day-ah) is one of Possibly the Greatest Disney Stars to Make The Perfect Debut Album. I bought The Deluxe Edition with The One Bonus Track "Parachute". Which is Normally Sold exclusively someplace else. I have no regrets. The album begins excellently with Her Top 40 Platinum Single Replay..and it doesn't really Let down. There's Really Only Two Ballads in the Entire Album. This Is Possibly An Underrated Album. It debuted and Peaked at #51. But I Am A ZSwagger for Life. Way To Go Zendaya. U did All Of Us Proud. Can't wait To Hear More from Her.

Zendaya's got the music in her!
Though I consider myself a classic rocker, from time to time a good female vocalist accompanying good music captures my attention. Of course there are always going to be songs on a CD that you wouldn't consider favorites, but there are more than enough XLNT songs on this CD to listen to over and over again to warrant 5 STARS from this classic rocker!!!

Outstanding Debut
This is a fantastic first album by Zendaya. I've seen her twice in concert before her first single was released, and thought she was a great live performer with a great ability to engage the audience. The songs on this debut CD surprised me, they take her singing in a direction different then her previous work on Disney soundtracks, and really showcase her vocal talents.

Excellent Debut album
I was pleasantly surprised by this album for someone so young; her singing is mature without trying to sound too grown-up. Being an Disney star, she's obviously had a lot of experience in show business and is marketing-savvy, but the sound on this album is really fresh and genuine. Some of the cuts are the teeny-bopper pop songs I expected, but it's mostly modern, urban hip-hop beats, edgy without any 4-letter words and suitable for all ages. Well done, looking forward to her next CD.
