I initially got a DJI Osmo, but quickly outgrew its capabilities, as I wanted a gimbal that I could use with my dslr. I opted for the AK2000, which I was very impressed with. I did, however, run into issues trying to update the AK2000, and it became stuck in an update cycle. I returned it to Amazon, and decided to purchase this one, the G6 Plus, as it is compatible with both a mobile phone and a mirrorless dslr.I used it a few nights ago to record a gig with a Canon M50 (18-150mm lens), and it was fantastic! The maximum payload for this gimbal is 800 grams (my camera weights 696 grams with the lens on). The battery life is great, and it handles my M50 no problems - I was concerned the 18-150mm lens might make it difficult to balance, but this was not the case. The set up took me about 5 minutes, and with the extension pole I was able to capture some great footage!I also want to add, I have used the G6 plus with my Huawei P10 Pro, using it in conjunction with a phone clamp, and again it was very nice to use, easy to balance and the end result was very impressive.Would definitely recommend this gimbal as a great bit of kit - it is much smaller than the AK2000, which makes it easier to operate for extended periods of time.

My camera (sony A7S) and lens combined are only 870g and this device cannot support the load. It WILL work with a much lighter Nikon camera but that's not what I bought it for. Very very disappointed and will be returning ASAP.

Everything about this product is high quality. The gimbal itself feels solid and works great. I find the other stuff that are part of the package really helpful and with good quality as well.

I'm a fashion photographer and took this with me on a location shoot last week-it's small enough to pack easily, battery lasted ALL DAY with my assistant using it for behind the scenes video, and it's rugged enough to not worry about it getting damaged. Strongly recommend - I use it with my Leica D-lux which can't be controlled with this, but the gimbal does have that functionality for some other cameras. You can still control the movement with a phone app which was pretty impressive.Very stable footage - worth every penny, and all the little extras are great too.

Even though this gimbal software supports the Canon M50, and you’ll see lots of vloggers recommending this for use with the M50, the reality is that the eye piece of the camera will hit the motor when balanced correctly making it unusable for low shots. I balanced it with the lightest lens I had attached (EF-M 22mm) and still the eye piece hit the motor. It’s a real shame as the gimbal itself seems great in most respects for the price, however the app needs some serious work.

I was looking for a handheld gimbal that could hold both my camera and my iphone 8 plus to shoot video for a sports performance project and I am glad I bought this Feiyu a1000 gimble .First I noticed is this thing is really solid which is what I need when filming with my camera (heavy weight). During the shooting, I did not feel the gimbal was shaky, holds the weight as it says. Class. Also i didn’t think it was too heavy. Definitely would say comfortable when filming with mobile phones. Easy set up. Instructions and YouTube are available. Mine comes with a case perfect for travel.Been playing with it few days and so far had no issue with this product. Would recommend

This is my first powered gimbal and it is a reliable bit of tech, I was very surprised at just how smooth the motion was compared to a glide cam and other no powered gimbals. It handled my Sony A7 really well with no problems. There price is very reasonable for the quality you receive when comparing with the more expensive brands like zyuin, Dji and the likes. I’m looking forward to getting more products from this company and improving my trade.

Good quality product for the money, but I had to return as there is some confusion as to the payload amount. The box says 1.7kg and the description is 1kg. Please make note of this before buying. For the record, I was trying to use a Canon 5d mkiii with a wide angle zoom lens and had to trade up for the Crane 2.
