Works great, fills up within the week
This flytrap works great at trapping flies, I've even seen horse flies trapped in it too! It's a must if you want to take care of a fly problem in your area, just a heads up, the stuff smells like rotten eggs so make sure you don't place it somewhere like your porch! I also recommend getting the refills because not only are they reusable, they fill up fast and you'll be dumping em out often. Extra bonus is the flies make great treats for chickens!

Does the job easily
When people say they stink they're not kidding. In spite of that I did have one in my house for close to a month because our infestation of flies was so severe. My husband has asthma and I didn't want to use any kind of fly spray. This did the job, be aware if you are dealing with a lot of flies you may have to empty it occasionally and slip a new dunk in. Overall it's easy to use, easy to clean, and when you're done you can simply throw it out if you don't intend to reuse it. I do keep mine from year to year and just wash them out in the back, dry thoroughly and store in a shed. The only complaint I have had is that when opened sometimes if the jug is jiggled at all the catching part slips back down and you have to twist it back out.

Works great!
I can’t say enough about how great this thing works. I was getting the bag ones and they are good too but this one collects so many flies in a week that it’s insane! I bought one in late spring and it filled up in 2 weeks. I bought another one a couple weeks ago and it’s completely full and flies are piling on. Sounds like a bee hive. Just bought 2 more and thought I would leave a review on it. Will definitely draw flies away from your house!

Works too well...
Worked too well unfortunately. Filled up very quickly with flies, then maggots. Had to dispose of the whole thing, because too nasty to try and dump out the flies and living maggots. The smell to begin with is bad, but just imagine how much worse with the maggots. Easy to initially set up, but not so much the disposal part.

Works miracles!!!!
This was a great find! During the spring into summer months flies are everywhere. We placed this out in the yard and within an hour it had collected so many. By the second day it was a quarter of the way full. The only downside to this product, the smell is horrendous. It was difficult to clean out because of it.

Incredibly effective.
Don't be discouraged if you haven't caught any flies in the first day or two. It took 3 days for flies to start entering the trap for me. Once they started, they never stopped. Within a week I had a 6 inch thick layer of dead flies caught.I was pretty blown away at how effective the attractant is once it ferments a bit. I caught half the flies in my whole neighborhood.Be warned: The smell of the attractant and flies is absolutely putrid. Be ready to dispose of it somewhere away from humans, and wear a mask and gloves. It's genuinely horrific.

Amazing! This thing REALLY works.
I’m just going to echo what other reviews have said. It takes a day or two to really get going but once it does it’s unbelievably effective. A compost bin combined with a chicken run meant we had a LOT of flies. Four days ago I hung this thing over the compost bin. The picture shows the result (the first day maybe 3 flies went in, the 2nd day there was a layer of dead flies on top and after that it went nuts!) The number of flies in the coop has been significantly diminished - this is a few meters from the coop but obviously attracting all the flies in the area. The only problem is it was too effective. I didn’t order refills, I thought I’d wait to see if it worked. Now no more flies can drown (they’re still going in but it’s solid flies inside so they’re not drowning). Fingers crossed that the refills I ordered yesterday get here quickly. I’m assuming it will last longer than a few days if I can get a refill in before the fly numbers build back up.Some people mention a smell but I haven’t particularly noticed one. Definitely recommend this if you have a fly problem.
