Very good quality and utility. Excellent for the $$
Needed a tube sander for a large bike rack sculpture I am making. Many complex curves to navigate. This tool is solid, and very easy to set up, and ran all day without getting hot. The belt tracking is amazing- so good it allows tilting to 45 degrees (with care) to fit into tight corners. The belt provided was very robust and did the rough sanding for my entire project. I was happy to find out that 1" Scotchguard belts work fine and track well too.Downsides? Well, the box is big. And it is really only of use on round tubing. Doesn't work well on square, because it generates a lot of pressure on the edges, and none in the middle. Still better off with an angle grinder for square tube.

Decent for the price
Works just fine. It's big and heavy, but I'm using it to grind and smooth welds on an old motorcycle frame so I'm trying to get into some really tight spots. The spring was a bit loose when it arrived so I took it out and opened it up a bit in the vise. Tension seems good now. It comes tie wrapped closed so the spring may have taken a set being under tension for so long. I might retrofit the head to a better quality grinder body if this one fails. Anyway, seems worth the money so far.

Great tool
This is the 2nd one of these tube sanders I've ran. The first one just attached to any grinder. It was fine but I didn't want to designate one of my grinders for just tubing. So I bought this and it's great. Plenty of power and a serous thick sturdy frame.

Very well made tool.
Easy to load the sand paper, no tools needed. Love the variable speed. I used 60 grit sandpaper on a very rusty metal pipe, ground off all the rust in no time. Prime and paint, looks just like new again.

I do not recommend the seller. It took them 10 days to ship an item that was supposed to be in stock
Sander a useful item, a little heavy, but works well.

If round is what you wanted this is what you need
The media could not be loaded. Maybe I’m using for something than intended but with motorcycle and scooter frames sometimes I need to trim off welded parts on a tube frame and it was very intense and time consuming to make it round and nice for paint for powder. Well this was my answer. Came out great and looks good and will use it many more times.

I thought this item was awesome and really going to be a big hit!!
I purchased this item as a Christmas present for my husband and was super excited about it. My husband seemed to love it when he opened the present and thought it would be great for sanding the steel fence posts he's been installing around our property. Sadly the arm on the item we received was broken and we returned it. I didn't purchase a replacement as my husband didn't believe it was made/built sturdy enough.

Nice unit
This is my first tube polisher, but I like it so far. I'm using it to clean up a motorcycle frame I've been customizing with some added welded in bungs, a hard tail, and some mounts. I bought it specifically because the power button will lock. At first it wasn't clear how that worked but I checked here and someone mentioned you had to push the button down a little. Voila! That was it. It's a little hard to get it out of the locked position, so just be careful. I'd give it 5 start but the belt walks a little and causes the edge of the belt to fray. It's also relatively heavy compared to some of my other hand tools, but I don't know how you'd make it much lighter. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase so far and if I had to do it again I definitely would.
