Everything was perfect with the fit and it did come with the clips shown in the picture. The clips are important to the installation.

Perfect fit
Filter was perfect fit on a 2000 mercury sable. The gas lines clips that came with the filter were identical to the original clips, but I got the old clips off intact and could have installed it without new clips.The only criticism of the filter is that it is made in China.
