Excellent wall hanger and very easy to put up
Excellent wall hanger and very easy to put up. It comes in 4 parts, the back plate, the hook/hanger and the nut to attach back plate and hanger and the strap to secure guitar. Only one word of warning. Do not hang on a hollow wall as it will come loose.and fall down without the correct fixings. You need to insert the hanger into the back plate and screw on the nut using the spanner which is supplied. Its best to line up the hanger so that the 3 holes sit in a triangular position (1 hole at the top and 2 holes level at the bottom). Ensure the nut is fully tightened and the hook is level using the 2 holes as a guide. Place the back plate at the correct height against the wall and mark 3 holes with a pencil. Drill holes and insert rawlplugs. Its best to use longish screws as you don't want your guitar to come crashing down. Once in place, make a final check that all looks level and you can move the hanger a bit as a final check and Bob's your Auntie. Its really secure and you can admire your guitars all lined up on the wall.

Guitar Wall Hanger
Pretty decent for the price - no complaints. The rubber flap, though useful for me was annoying so I just took that off and the guitar still stays put. It's an anodised metal, the holes will fit 5mm screws. Screws and fixings not included. If drilling in to plaster or brick, you'll need raw plugs, and always test the strength of partition walls first. If we imagine the screw holes like a triangle, I placed the two at the top and one at the bottom, so the pressure on the screws is shared between the two at the top, as more pressure will be on these when something heavy is placed in the arm.I have used this for a Bass guitar (has got some weight to it) and it holds strongly and safely.

Careful with your axes, Eugene...
As long as they don't suddenly fall off the walls, I'm happy to post a five star review for these doodads. My walls themselves (plasterboard*) I'd give two out five, and the various fixtures (numerous types of plug'n'screw combos, all allegedly designed for use with plasterboard) anything from one to three or four out of five. After a few abortive attempts - thanks to the plasterboard giving way as I tightened the screws to hold these guitar supports in place (no fault of the product under review here) - I finally got the hooks roughly where I wanted them. And so far so good. The room is somewhat less cluttered for having a few guitars hung on the wall, rather than leaning against whatever bit of wall-space is free. These were very good value for money when I bought mine (under a tenner for two, I believe). I like that the support is padded. But I'm not sure if I'll ever use the rubbery 'clip' feature. All in all tho', they're doing what I bought them for, and they look good as well. So I'm happy.* Oh how I loathe plasterboard; you might as well make walls out of butter.

Cheap quality guitar storage option
I bought this to elevate my Guitar of the ground as my small cottage is overloaded with stuff. This is an excellent Wall Hanger for my Guitar. There are 3 screw holes for fixing to the wall, unfortunately it did not come with screws or plasterboard fixings so if you are planning installing on your wall make sure you buy good fittings as you don't want your guitar hitting the deck!!!It has padded arms so you don't need to worry about scratching the neck of your guitar. It can also be adjusted so you can align the screw holesGreat product and Great Value

perfect for those who have guitars
bought it to hang my guitar on a wall, but my friend borrowed a guitar and never gave it back. I'm sure if I had a guitar this hanger would hold it perfectly...

Guitar wall art
easy to put up and holds your guitar safely. you need to rotate the bracket until it holds your guitar headstock on both sides, once you've done this, just mark up the screw positions on your wall, put everything in a safe place and drill your wall. this doesn't come with wall plugs or screws so you need to provide your own, 40mm screws do the job nicely.i've got 2 guitars and a bass hanging on these and they've caused no issues in over 6 months. the strap across the front doesn't look the nicest, but it does give piece of mind in case you guitar gets knocked. it really isn't going to fall out.music shops use these types of hangers so it really shouldn't be a worry about putting any strain on your guitar neck, the strings put far more strain on the neck anyway.these are a very cheap way of safely storing your guitar out of harms way and of displaying your guitar. not only do you get to look at your guitar, but it's safe and very easy to get down to play.fantastic product.

Built down to a price not to a good standard.
Arrived well packed. However, the stud that secures backing plate had a threads that had been mis-cut, so tightening it was really difficult. I eventually had to find washers to pack out the bottom of the stud as the nut would not tighten onto the backing plate. In addition to this they don't supply any screws, so you have to find or buy black headed screws, or find or buy some mat black paint, otherwise it would look odd. Its definatley built down to a price not to a good standard.Next time I will pay more and get a better bracket.

Hangs safely on plasterboard walls.
I received this item a week ago. It hangs my treasured guitar out of the reach of my grandchildren who sometimes try to play with it when I'm not there to supervise. I see that some reviewers do not trust this device on a plasterboard wall. This is superb on a plaster board wall, just use plasterboard wall-hanger hardware, available at Amazon. I have hung large TVs on plasterboard walls using these items of hardware, they are capable of supporting very heavy weights, a guitar or even my Goldtone banjo, much heavier than a guitar, is light by comparison and perfectly safe if you use the right hardware, according to the instructions.
