Not bad for the price.
This is NOT a great survival box. The pieces are mediocre at best, but for the value, you can't beat it. I would have given it a much higher rating, but the customer service is lacking. When received everything worked but the compass. I emailed the seller but never received a response back. Even though I would not return it due to just the compass, it would have been nice to get a response back or even to offer to replace the compass. Still, for the price it was worth it.

Gift Option
This is a very good kit to give as a start up. The contents look like the ones in the picture.The flashlight comes with a charged up battery.The case was small enough to fit the glove compartment or a backpack. And supposed to be waterproof.Again, this is not a survival kit to survive everything like a flood or a fire, more likely a camping thing.The only thing missing is the charger for the battery.

Compasses do not work at all.
The compass doesn't work on either bracelet or hand compass and the knife is as dull as a butter knife. On the positive side. The flashlight is good and bright once you remove the sticker on the battery, and I like the case. Ultimately my rating is as low as it is because you need a proper working compass for a descent survival kit.

Awesome light
Best value for the price by far. The flashlight is awesome. You can have it wide angled or narrow for viewing things very far away. The light alone is worth twice the price of the whole kit. You will need a battery charger for the light battery. You will also need to take the light apart to remove the plastic that blocks the battery from activating the light. This is the perfect emergency kit for any vehicle.

Nice kit as a spare
Good value! Put a couple items in my glove compartment, the rest in a 2nd B.O.B. i am putting together. The pen is heavy and writes ok. Knife is sharp. Overall, the items are surprisingly good quality.

Well worth the money
Very happy! For $10 you couldn't buy half of the items in it separately. The flashlight is much higher quality than I expected. The compass actually works! Most of the cheap compasses I see don't.

Love the Compass
The compass looks like an old fashioned pocket watch my granddaddy used to carry. Really cool. Everything is fit in the case, and I don't dare take it out for fear I'll never get in all back in!

Faulty
The thermal blanket is missing, the light took some fussing to work, and the brass compass is junk, but I'll keep it for the rest of the stuff, for the "just in case."
